"We had a great room with a big 4 poster bed and a view of the harbour. Everything in the room was impeccable. Staff were very friendly and the restaurants in the area great!"

"Needed instructions on use of: showers, water settings based on new fixtures, bed making made it difficult to bring covers up to shoulders, some table tops needed dusting as well as kitchen floor was sticky in spots. Overall unit was lovely, views spectacular.Staff were welcoming and gracious. "

"We were originally concerned about possible noise from others (we were on the top floor, and had a neighbour directly across from us), but it wasn’t an issue for the duration of our visit. The hot tub was out of service during our stay which was disappointing. The stairs inside were very narrow, so more caution coming down. The kitchen was minimally stocked (spices, condiments) compared to many other similar places I have stayed, which for the most part was ok, but we did have to go into town to by some salt. There were a few tiny packets, but not many. Besides these few complaints I still give a good rating. It was quiet, cozy, had a bbq, and a deck to drink my warm drink in the morning. Reasonably priced, and off the main road made for a nice stay."

"Unique property. By level room which we thought was fun. There were stairs to the room no elevator. So request an accessible if that is what you need. Be aware that many things are closed in town on Monday. Lighthouse trail is worth the walk especially for sunrise or sunset."

"Great place to stay for our few days in Ucluelet. Great location, really clean, had a fully stocked kitchen, in suite laundry. Appreciated the daily texts we received to give us updates on local events and suggestions. Loved relaxing on our deck, drinking our morning coffee and watching the boats in the harbour. Breathing taking views. Would definetly come back and highly recommend Embar Ucluelet to all my family and friends. Can’t wait for our next visit."

"Cabins West feels like a new property. It was very clean and one of the quietest places, at night, we've ever stayed. The quiet during the day was interrupted by the construction across the street. We were there in Sept 2024 and I anticipate the external construction to be completed shortly. While the amenities were all fine the little touches were a little short. The only spices available were salt and pepper, there was no plastic wrap, zip lock bags or aluminum foil. While these are minor things when you show up at a fairly expensive property like this the small touches make the stay easy."
