We only spent two nights at Uma Kalai but the impression it made on us felt far beyond that. The surroundings and hotel garden was stunning, beautiful villas with top of the line equipment and sparkling clean. Wonderful pool area with an amazing view and a restaurant that felt like a living room. The gym was small but very well-equipped, air conditioned and very clean. However, all of this was great, but what really struck us was how extremely well the hotel staff treated us from the very beginning until checkout. Genuinely friendly and helpful, but never too much or in our space. We would especially want to mention one out of the staff members called Dicky who felt like a good friend and was the best at his job out of all the hotel personnel in have ever met. Thank you, Uma Kalai - and especially thank you Dicky!
