As a whole I thought the property was great value for what it is. The a/c worked fine, breakfast was good, and the family was very nice. The main reason why I'm unable to give them a better review, is that they overcharged us by 100k rupiah each for a ticket to gili. However they were nice enough to reschedule the trip at the very last moment due to a sudden illness. All in all, a good stay, but buy your onward travel tickets elsewhere.

Heerlijk rustig

Basic kamer met een eigen douche en toilet. Elke ochtend een thermoskan heet water voor je koffie of thee. Airco en plafond ventilator. Super lieve mensen. Het ligt aan een drukke straat maar daar merk je niets van.

Et hyggelig houmstay i centrum af bud.

Det er en hyggelig sted med en godt beliggenhed tæt på Mankey forrest , centrum, food gade, supermarket.Stor udvalg af morgenmad, som bliver livet individuelt. Dog ingen rengøring, så skraldespand bliver ikke tømt. En godt aircondition, kan indstilles på flere regi. Værten er meget venlige og smilende.

One step away from "busy" Hanoman street and your in "heaven". Peaceful and very friendly. All the best clean room and both AC and fan. Very Good.

Super séjour ! 6 nuits. Déjeuner super bons et variés( nouilles,toats,omelettes, crêpes) avec thé et café. Ne pas hésiter! Parking gratuit dans la rue si vous avez un scooter! À 5 minutes des restaurants et de Monkeys forest. Je recommande!

Moldy, cups/silverware covered in lipstick

Upon checkin the smell of mold was overwhelming, but it is the tropics, so I turned on the air conditioning and fan in the bathroom to air out the room for a few hours. Was manageable through the night. When breakfast the arrived the next morning, it was clear that the mugs had not been washed from the past guest- they were covered in lipstick. At this point, I decided to end my stay early as I just did not trust the cleanliness any longer. Didn't use the duvet in the room, as there was no top sheet.

A lot of bang for your buck

This guesthouse is very cozy, the owner is friendly and the room is comfortable and with great size. What I like most is the fact it is indeed a local home. The guesthouse is somewhat easy not to find, since there is only a small entrance that leads to 3 different guesthouses. The breakfast was à la carte (you could chose a couple of options). It was not plenty, but for the price you pay for the room, you can't ask a lot more. The only issue I had was with the internet connection; in my room the signal was very week and even around the grounds of the guesthouse, I always had difficulty to connect. As there is not tv in the room, having some wifi helps.

Bang for your buck! Delicious breakfast...

Room was clean and spacious with powerful shower and large bed, only minor complaint would be no top sheet, but other than than amazing amenities for the price. We loved the breakfasts which were bought up to our room by our friendly host, he offered fair prices for beer, tours etc as well. Would definitely stay again if in the area.

Great place

The family is so friendly, kind and helpful. Just ask and they will help! Great breakfast included, served on your balcony! You feel at home. Quiet street. Close to everything like good warungs, the Palace and the market för shopping. Cleaning every day if you want. I would come again!

Nice place but bad internet, expensive

The hostel itself is very nice, well located on the main street in Ubud. Breakfast is nice, and the rooms are very cozy and comfy. However, for $15/night (which in my opinion is expensive for Indonesia), I would expect to have great wifi. Unfortunately, the internet kept cutting out for me on the second floor, and even when I went downstairs to the reception it wasn't so good. If you aren't too picky about price, it's a very relaxing, quiet place, but for me, good wifi is critical. I've stayed in $3 hostels where the internet was better than this place. So consider that before you book here.

Very nice, a bit noisy

I stayed here 4 days. The size of the room is incredible compared to what you’re paying, and everything is just fine. The staff is friendly too. It is a bit noisy, especially in the morning, because there is a rooster that doesn’t seem to sleep right next to the hotel.

Dejligt homestay, god placering

Super dejligt homestay.... Familiemedlemmerne er alle super søde, og hilser altid. Homestayet har en god placering, men kan være lidt svært at finde. Værelserne i bunden er dejlig store, mens værelserne ovenpå er lidt mindre, men stadig god størrelse. Det eneste minus er, at vores værelse havde en rigtig dårlig lugt, bl.a. af kloak, og der var ikkerigtig noget at gøre ved det. Men dejligt sted, uden tvivl. Vil anbefale det :)

入り口に注意

安価で快適な良い宿です。ただ入り口がわかりにくい点に注意。 通り沿いに看板が出ていますが、そこから入って更に奥へ奥へと進んで突き当りの左側が入り口です。支払い済みでなかったら諦めて他を探したかも。

first time in ubud

i had a good stay. the bed sheets where a little itchy. but everything else was perfect the breakfast was good. the service was great. the roosters is loud every morning but a great way to get up. can't go wrong. thanks for a pleasant stay oh by the way go ro the coffee shop aunmam next door on rhe second floor the best coffee shop great view down the street a vegan buffet for 500.000 all you can eat awesome.

Secluded Homestay in the middle of Ubud

Stayed in room downstairs, which was nice and clean, but would have preferred upstairs room with sunset views over roofs of Ubud. Despite the general cleanliness of the place, the only criticism was that the flask and crockery appeared to have seen better days and have not been cleaned in a very long time. Overall the breakfast was satisfactory, especially as we paid £11 per night which included breakfast. The host and her family were friendly and helpful, although be aware that reception is not always manned and therefore ask any questions whenever you see someone. If they don't understand they call the host immediately. The homestay is located on a busy road, but tucked away nicely and therefore no noise at all is to be heard from the road. It's in the middle of town and in easy walking distance of the Monkey Forest, the market, shops and loads of cafés/restaurants.

Nice stay near coco super market

Overall very good home stay at this low rate of 15 USD per night in this high season. Owner was very helpful. Hot water in the flask arranged by the owner as and when required. Breakfast made available in the room was nice. Centrally located, near several restaurants and walking distance to Monkey Forest Temple. Owner has arranged car for day trip to temple and site visit. Strongly recommend to stay here.

Cool local homestay

Nice place to stay in Ubud. Good location and very local vibe, very Balinese. Small room but comfortable, good shower, and balcony where they deliver you breakfast. Good WiFi with routers all over the place. Only thing to keep in mind is that while the staff is friendly and helpful, its a small shop so sometimes they're hard to find. When I wanted to book something, I couldn't find anyone, and the only person there didn't speak much English. After 20 minutes of waiting and poor communication, I just left and booked it through a tour agency. Small deal though since tour agencies are plentiful in Ubud. Just FYI. And its about a 15 minute walk from most of the "action" (bars/restaurants) in Ubud...some will see that as positive and some negative. But this is a clean, comfortable, local place where the upstairs balconies have killer sunset views. And really, you cannot beat the price either.
