Great view, poor location

Everything was wonderful - great view, clean room, etc. but the location caused us problems! Took half an hour driving up and down the road in a taxi, asking locals who had no idea where the place was! No sign post outside the property to show where we were meant to go! Local taxi drivers even struggled finding the property! Aside from that, all wonderful. Manager offered to help us with taxis etc, but we didn't have a mobile to be able to contact him and never saw him again after checking in. The only reason I wouldn't recommend is because it is hard to find!

If you want your own space , rice paddy view and a enjoy local Balanese experience and local prices Ganesha home stay is ideal, this is a local village which is charming a bit noisy for me but to be fair I am a very light sleeper. There are a few restaurants / minimarts local markets etc within walking distance some the best one was 20m away to but if you have a bike this place is ideal. Nice kitchen to cook breakfast and make tea / coffee etc the manager is very helpful speaks very good English and keen to please. big comfortable bed, decent wifi ,nice aircon big bathroon and powerful shower .Overall very happy and a different experience. Ubud city centre is only 15-20 mins away.
