"Pretty good value overall. Room was clean and comfortable. Hotel had nice walkable streets nearby. Great little town. Breakfast could use significant improvement. Really very limited selection by Spanish hotel breakfast standards — didn’t taste fresh. Zero hot foods (e.g. eggs) and only two fresh fruits. Coffee machine looked modern but made bad coffee that seemed mixed with hot chocolate. "
"First, the view from our room was worth the stay—gorgeous! The hotel was good. Staff had limited English but that’s to be expected off the beaten track. The meals that came with “full board” were quite limited, and we would go a la Carter next time. Room was a little stuffy, and it was a little noisy in the evening with the window open. The thermostat didn’t do anything, so a bit of air conditioning was not an optio. "
"check-in took some time as reception wasn't manned - probably due to a large group of school children being served dinner keeping all the staff busy. The lady on reception was super helpful and friendly."
"Good hotel in a lovely location up a hill through olive groves. Great terrace outside the bar with a view of the hills. Good restaurant with a decent choice of meals and wines.
The only downside is that while the staff were able to supply a password for the bar wi-fi, they didn't seem to know the password for the wi-fi networks covering the accommodation buildings (and my Spanish wasn't good enough to enquire further)."

Renaissance palaces and churches line the UNESCO-listed streets where you can admire Vandelvira's architectural masterpieces. Enjoy tapas at Plaza Vázquez de Molina after exploring the Sacred Chapel and El Salvador Church's ornate facades.
"This is a very old fashioned hotel. Bit like staying in a museum. Booked this hotel as the reviews were good, not sure they are correct! One says its like home from home, not sure what sort of home they live in!
Also its states offsite parking, reservations required. The only parking was a very rough car park. We were on a motorbike & secure parking is a must.
Cant comment on the breakfast as we had to leave early. "
