However, the host did not tell us we would be sharing the house with other guests abs this caused a startle with those we found in the house already. The gyser was not working and this was on a 9degree Celsius weather where we had to take a night and morning cold shower. "What an INCREDIBLE place!!!! I can highly recommend Hartford House from the beautiful rooms, on point service and the gorgeous landscaping! We spent 3 nights here celebrating our 5 year anniversary and had blissful weekend! They have a very talented chef and we did their 6 course tasting menu two nights, one with wine pairing and they have a very knowledgeable Sommelier- Kathryn! "Dragons Peak never disappoints…absolutely love this place. However, would be nice if they can maybe include air conditioners or a fan on a stand as it did get quite warm at night. If hiking routes can also be marked a bit clearer it would help. Either way, loved our stay and love the place. Will definitely be back:-)"

Went hiking in the southern Drakensberg of South Africa. Amazing views of the mountain chain, gorges, rivers and small ponds with crystal clear water.
