"Property was exactly what we were expecting from the listing. It was perfect for our family of four to get away for needed time together away from the normal. Beautiful setting on the marsh. Saw a ton of water birds, owls, and many bald eagle sightings (including three separate eagles at once). We went in January, and the highs were mid to low 30s. It was cold, as we expected it to be, but between layering up and the 4 separate plug in room heaters provided by the host, it was the right kind of cold winter cozy. Kitchen well stocked. We cooked a lot. Nearby state and county parks were wonderful for long family walks and explorations. And you can run from the house directly into point lookout state park. Loved it. Would absolutely try it again and see what the marsh is like other times of the year. "

Beautifully decorated and maintained, all while the host goes above and beyond to stay in contact & provide the best experience possible. We had a 1/2 a week here for thanksgiving and created the most amazing memories in thanks to this host. We were able to join 2 families traveling from afar to cook, eat, enjoy family time inside and outside, so seamlessly because this home was so comfy & amazing. Comfy beds, amazing views, amazing kitchens, bathrooms, dining spaces, lounging spaces, TVs galore, games, ample space, fire pit, decks, grill huts, private beach, fresh oysters, lots of towels, new appliances and so much more- so many details provided throughout the homes. We talked about how we would absolutely return to this property. What a fabulous job you've done to give your guests a great experience. Our memories here are epic and this will always hold a special place in our hearts. Thank you!"

"Amazing adventure! Peaceful! Beautiful! Privacy! Gourmet Kitchen! The house is set back from the neighborhood on a large lot. The decks are new and comfortably furnished. We cooked breakfast and dinner for 3 days and the well-equipped kitchen was perfect. Our days started and ended with gourmet meals, on the deck, emersed in the salt marsh. We explored the creeks, guts, and islands all around Ewell, Rhodes Point and Tylerton. Rich and Dani helped coordinate a private charter boat to bring our kayaks and gear. Everyone we met was very helpful and kind. Smith Island is a paddler's/adventurer’s paradise. And, if after a long day of exploring you want a comfortable bed, internet, and all the comforts of home this is the spot. Rich and Danis house is the perfect home base for any group Smith Island adventure!"

"Traveling with 2 small dogs for 3 straight days, the oasis of Crisfield is here. Quiet yet convenient. The listing is spot on and all necessities for a longer term stay were provided. Bonuses included the supply of coffee pods, tea bags, and breakfast bars. Plenty of linens, and so much more! Thank you for providing an appointed home to call ours for a week.p.s. Biggest find was Waters Edge cafe. Avoided the ice cream counter, which was easy after a filling dinner of the best crab cakes that we’ve had in several years!"
