This unit is 217B, we have several others available. This unit has a side view of the beach, queen bed in bedroom, queen sofa sleeper in living room, and small bunks built into wall (perfect for children). The Savannah Beach & Racquet Club is a gated bay front complex located on the quiet North end of Tybee Island. The Bay is where the Savannah River meets the Atlantic Ocean. There is a wonderful beach area just steps from the condo. This area of the beach is known to be very family friendly as it is less crowded. The location is great for dolphin watching, watching large ship containers travel into savannah port. If you enjoy walking along the beach, you can walk all the way to the South end of the Island, without leaving the sand. The Beach & Racquet Club is a great alternative to staying at a hotel room on the island. Enjoy more space and amenities like fully equipped kitchens, living room with cable TV, private balconies, tennis courts, and pool. All of the one-bedroom condos share use of a 14'x20' pool and 10"x10' kiddie pool. A & B building condos have coin-operate laundry on each floor along. There is parking for 1 vehicle only, NO GOLF CARTS, TRAILERS, BOATS, JET SKI'S or OVERSIZE VEHICLES ALLOWED.

Stays longer then 30 days, October - March, there is additional cleaning fee. Please inquire for details on pricing.

Tybee paradise

Loved this property so much!! Looking out across the water, fantastic fishing off the beach and watching those giant ships... Truly an amazing stop on our trip.

Relaxed setting

This was easy check in/out. The property was clean with accurate description. It was not over crowded so we had plenty of room at the beach as well the pool This is our second time staying here and we will return.

Perfect getaway!

We have thoroughly enjoyed staying at this complex. The beach access is so close and provides a beautiful view. The unit was clean and perfect for my husband and I. The only suggestion I would have is to provide a black out shade for the hallway window. The light from the hallway lights at night is very bright. Thank you for a great trip to Tybee Island!

Quick family trip

Though as pictured, this unit was very basic. It is obvious that the owners don’t take pride in the property and possibly don’t visit often. Limited kitchen items (baking sheet, plates, etc) are available and be sure to wash anything before using as they are dirty in the cabinets. This is probably because they do not provide any dish soap but it is required to wash the dishes before leaving. One trash bag for an entire stay is wild but we made it work. Ice maker does not work. Sliding door on the balcony is on its last leg and covered in rust. The outlet on right side of the bed doesn’t work. The bedroom light doesn’t work so you have to use bedside lamp. There are no blankets to use on the bunk beds or pull out couch so make sure to bring your own or you will have to go to Walmart and buy some like we did. Also the check in and check out process is very out dated as you have to go to an office to get a key and return it. We haven’t done that in 10 years. The complex and location was great but we would not stay in this unit again.

The apartment was nasty!! Died Poop all over toliet, dishes were put away in cabinet but had dried food on them. The bedroom outlets do not work if the hallway outlets are in use. And screen was missing off of sliding door and propped against the wall. We loved the complex but not this particular unit.

No Blankets for 2 Beds

First off the address for the after hours key pick up on the website is wrong. So spent some time trying to find it. Then get to the place to find the bedroom was the only bed that had sheets and blankets. There were 4 of us so the pull out couch and bunk bed had only a sheet. We were left 1 garbage bag, and about 1/3 roll of toilet paper. We then had to go get our own bedding from the rental property. I didn’t like the message on VRBO to communicate, our toilet went bad and the last thing I wanted to do was be checking the website to see if someone responded to my message about it. Luckily I knew how to fix it to keep it flushing to get us through 2 days. Location wasn’t too bad but wouldn’t stay here again.

Perfect for what it was

This was a quick 48 hr trip. The condo doesn't have many frills and thrills; HOWEVER, the pool and location to a more private beach could not be beat. We really had a a blast. The location is perfect. Thank you and we will visit again.

My 3 siblings and I enjoyed a wonderful time at this condo! It was cleaner than I expected and was very comfortable. The two bunks were a little short, probably better for two children but they were okay. Overall great experience and would rent again!

Family vacation

The location of this property was great. Very short walk to the beach which we loved. The unit itself was decent. It was as pictured. Needs to be updated but it is still a very decent condo. Would probably stay there again.

Relaxing long weekend

My wife and I were able to sit back relax and enjoy ourselves while at Tybee on this 4 day weekend. Hope to be back again soon maybe a 4 day every month from here on out

Exactly as pictured

If you are just wanting a place to sleep and not cook or hang out in your room, this is perfect, however, it would be nice if the bunk beds had some sort of quilt or blanket instead of just a sheet and there’s hardly any dishes..only two bowls..no hair dryer. Overall neat just nothing really there.

Great visit

Everything was accurately depicted in the listing. We had no problems whatsoever. We enjoyed the beach and it was quiet and family friendly. We even got to see some dolphins up close during our early morning walk.
