Reviewer Comments: My experience was terrible, the unit had fruit flies flying around and when reported to the manager she was very rude and when I asked to be moved to another unit she wanted to get the unit sprayed while I was still occupying the unit. Great location, good service, cleanliness needs improved

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Great location! Loved the pools and pool depth 3-5ft is great for smaller kids. Only issue with the rental was the master bath shower. Glass had soap scum and was gross. Main shower head leaked from wall to floor so we had to use the handheld shower head. Furniture was old but for a beach house was ok. Would stay at this location again, but not this unit.

Quick trip to Tybee Island

Reviewer Comments: My husband and I and our daughter were invited to an event in downtown Savannah on Friday night May 3rd with professional pictures being taken early Saturday morning May 4th on the beach of Tybee Island. So we were looking for a place to stay that wouldn’t require more driving on Saturday morning after driving up from the Tampa Bay Area the previous day. Beachside Colony did not disappoint; it was clean, roomy enough for everyone to have their own space and it was nice and quiet for a good nights sleep after the festivities of Friday night in downtown Savannah. I do wish our stay could have been longer but we will definitely come back and stay for a longer amount of time in the future. My one “complaint” is that we were charged the full $150 cleaning fee and we literally just slept there and left the next morning, I did explain why were coming ahead of time and I kind of assumed that fee would have been reduced but it wasn’t, that would have been considerate seeing how we weren’t even in the unit other than to sleep one and change clothes. Nevertheless, the unit was indeed clean and pleasant and suited us great.

You can see little glimpses of the ocean and and all the birds in the garden area like to perch on the balcony when not in use. There is private access to the pool and beach which makes it very convenient because there is only paid public parking on the Island. We will be staying again with Beachside Colony properties.

We did cook a couple of nights so I feel like the unit needs to upgrade their cook ware was there wasn’t any baking sheets. But all in all we would stay there again.

The baseboards in the bathrooms of our unit do need a little attention as they look to worn or have water damage. More towels overall for the bathroom would also have been nice. With three adult and two children we’d run out of towels pretty quickly. We all had a good time and satisfied with our stay.

We loved the location. Proximity to the pool and the ocean was amazing as was the view from the balcony. Loved the attached restaurant and bar and the heated pool, the outside of this resort is wonderful! Would have loved to have some board games or puzzles in the condo for the evenings and a larger TV but overall this place was just what we wanted. We would definitely book again.

Perfect for a Spring Break Getaway

Great location and great room. Outdoor pool could have been a little more heated but it was tolerable for most of the stay. Easy access to the beach and all around easy process from check in to check out. Great location to everything on Tybee. The granddaughters really enjoyed their time with us and made some memories.

We went down to the local IGA and got some groceries for some morning/lunch needs then enjoyed our dinners at the Deck and other local favorite places. We took walks along the beach both to the pier and to the lighthouse as well!
