Love Tybee!

A wonderful condo perfect for us and our daughter and son-in-law. Great location, clean, easy to get to, and the check-in/out process was easy as you'd ever want it to be. A very nice 'home away from home' for the week.

My experience at the Tybee Sands Condominiums was great. We were down stairs from the beach, and a block aways from the restaurants. Everything is in walking distance. Highly recommend this property.

Comfortable and close to everything

Property was exactly as shown and reasonably priced for the area. We contacted Tybee Rental ahead of time to alert them to our late arrival and had no problem getting our check in pkg when we got in. This condo is located in what we called an "alley" - there is no beach view - but as promised the beach and everything Tybee South is within close walking distance. It was quiet and very comfortable the dates we were there. Condo does not provide "beach" stuff...BYO towels etc...We would definitely recommend and stay in this rental again.

Thin walls

Property definitely needs updating. I did not sleep at night because of the think walls and floors. I could hear my neighbors in their bathroom, on the toilet. We could hear people’s entire conversations.

Perfect Getaway

This location was picture-perfect. It was within walking distance of lots of commercial businesses as well as the beach. There were balconies in the living room and both bedrooms. From the bedroom balcony, you can look down on the neighbor's beautiful, zen swimming pool that changes colors. The only this I was disappointed in was no basic seasoning such as salt/pepper. When you shop, you completely forget about that. I 100% recommend!

Great stay overall. Good comminication, easy no-contact check-in, very responsive to issues (property management responded immediately and spent hours resolving cable issues and making sure the living room and primary bedroom TVs were operational). Property as advertised, clean, very walkable location close to 18th Street beach access. Free parking below unit for up to 2 vehicles, but it's a tight squeeze. We parked a minivan and had a tough time avoiding columns while backing out - could not imagine doing it with 2 cars in the spot. Things to keep in mind: No pool. No beach chairs, towels, or toys included. No spices, coffee, pantry staples, etc. included. One puzzle, no board games. Very small cleaning starter pack only and minimal bath towels considering the property sleeps 6. Overall, great property management company (Tybee Island Rentals) and nice property. We had a relaxing time and would definitely stay at this unit again.

A good time in Tybee

Close to the beach, perfect size for 3 adults, close to restaurants and shopping. Only reason I didn’t give 5 stars is because some of the dishes were not clean in the cabinets. But everything was clean.

I really appreciated the manager contacting us to say we could drop our stuff off earlier than the normal check in time (which is late IMO).

Summer getaway

The place was just as advertised- we had one small issue with the toilet and the maintenance crew was in and out. Very close to beach and pier. Parked the car and walked everywhere. Loved it

Property was nice and clean, location was convenient but consideration should be made to add more exterior lights on the street. It’s the only street without any lighting could result in questionable safety walking late at night.

Great condo near the beach!

We recently spent a long weekend at this rental and we loved the unit itself. Very clean, very comfortable and it's less than a 5 minute walk to the beach. We were a little skeptical that we had to go by their office to check-in but they brought us our welcome packet to the car and it ended up being a very easy process. My only complaint would be that it's extremely difficult to locate the parking spot. Every rental condo on the street has large numbers that make it obvious where you're supposed to park but the numbering for this one is very small and placed where it's not visible from he road unless you know where it is. Otherwise I would highly recommend and we will be staying here again the next time we're in town.

Perfect Vacation Condo

The rental process and communication with management was a breeze. The location could not be more perfect and the condo was perfection! We were able to walk to the beach, restaurants and shops in minutes. The only drawback was the parking spot. There is a pole in the way so you have to back out at an angle which is difficult with 2 cars parked in the next spot. Otherwise 5 stars in every way!
