This little studio was perfect for me, my husband, and our dog Ozzy! The bed is huge and very comfortable and the temperature is easy to control. It felt like a lot of space despite just being one room. A short, pleasant walk to a private beach or 7 min drive/15 minute bike ride to the more popular public beach with dining and shopping. The space was well stocked, we especially loved the kitchenette and shower. It also had a few bonus features we enjoyed, such as a sound machine, surround sound TV, and a private patio with a nice view in the evenings. The neighborhood is quiet and cozy. It’s a 5 minute walk to the island dog park. We will be back!
We came to Tybee Island for our honey moon and we enjoyed our stay. After a few months of planning our wedding we needed some peace and relaxation and this was what we needed.
This is a great location and very nice property. It was perfect for visiting north beach & surrounding area. The bed was comfortable, coffee bar was well stocked & it was very very clean. Another review mentioned a wet dog smell. I didn't notice this at all. My son LOVED the turtle pond on the property and we visited several times. The only reason I took a star off is the noise upstairs. Other reviews mention this. I figured they were exaggerating, but they definitely aren't. I was awoken 1st morning at 6:30 & it was too loud to fall back asleep. Sounded like a parade above us.. Second morning I woke up to the dog barking right by our door and somebody opening & closing the door going from their garage to their stairs very loudly several times. Maybe close it a little quiter when you know you have guests staying? It did seem a bit inconsiderate to me, though I do understand given it being directly underneath their home noise cannot always be helped. If there is any way to sound proof, that may really help. I would still recommend. Just bring noise canceling geadphones if you're not trying to get up that early!
Would recommend for a couple looking for a quiet place to stay. We rented bikes and were able to travel all over the island. This is studio lock-off so requires being extra quiet. Nice pond out back with dozens of turtles off the pier.
The property is quiet, clean and i felt safe. It was my teenage daughter and I. The beach is just in the backyard. Way more quiet then the beach near the pier. We would definitely go there again!

A simple and lovely accommodation with boardwalk to the beach right in the backyard. Kitchen well stocked with appliances and cookware; you'll need to bring your own essentials (oil, spices, etc). Comfortable bed as well. I would gladly return.
Like that it’s on the north end of the beach. Easy to get on/off the island. Owners are on site, but didn’t bother us. They have a gas grill that was not on the listing (we never used it). Walking distance to the lighthouse, north beach bar and grill, and a park to walk our dog.
Lovely place, excellent location. Perfect for just me and my pup for a few days. I’ve been to Tybee many times, this was my first time staying by the marsh. Beautiful but sometimes critters are loud 😊 I accidentally left my fan there so- future tenants, you may need that at night. Great stay- highly recommend!
We had a great experience and this was the perfect place for us for a few days at the beach. We had easy access to walk to the beach. We also rented bikes and were able to easily bike to North Beach near the lighthouse. We made sandwiches for lunch daily and enjoyed eating dinners out.

My husband and I greatly enjoyed our stay. This property was the perfect, quiet retreat with easy access to the beach. The local fare is terrific and within a 2 mile drive. The studio is exactly as pictured. The small kitchenette made a huge difference in overall convenience and comfort. We loved the little patio with comfy seating for morning coffee and afternoon board games and wine! Thanks for a great stay!
Our first trip to Tybee Island and we fell
In love! The Blue Heron is a gem. North Beach is quiet and lovely. We watched dolphins and manatees from the beach and ate at several wonderful restaurants.
It was easy to get to Savannah and we spent a fun day exploring!
We hope to come back soon!
This was everything the two of us needed to feel right at home while away from home! We were able to fix breakfast multiple times throughout the week, had plenty of space and really enjoyed the close beach access. We brought our own golf cart which made access to the rest of the island a breeze. We particularly appreciated the ample coffee provided, the outdoor shower and seating and the beach access immediately behind the property. We would definitely stay again!
This place was great. Clean, modern, and perfectly located. It's close enough to everything you need, but far enough away from the parts of Tybee that can get a little too busy. The views from the property are beautiful, and the beach is right there. That part of the beach is the best on the island, too, as it never gets too crowded, and you get to see the big cargo ships, the fishing boats, and in the right season, the dolphins. I really enjoyed my time here, and hope to come back and stay here again.
We had never used vacation rentals before so we were a little nervous! But I have to say that the whole experience was amazing! The rental was clean and beautiful. Beach access was right out the back of the property. We had a small issue with the sink and it was taken care of promptly. We plan on going back!
Perfect for 2 people! Very clean and nicely decorated! Absolutely thought of everything you need. A little disappointed with the "ocean" view. It's a peakaboo view. It's more of a marsh view. We did see a little bit of the cargo ship when it came by. The owners do live here and you do hear them when they come and go. Overall very nice.
We had a wonderful time while on Tybee Island. The studio apartment was clean, bright and comfortable for the two of us and our dog. So much History, we visited Fort Pulaski, and took the light house trail. We even crossed paths with an armadillo. Also visited the Science Center. Great restaurants, and beautiful walks. The one down fault was zero tolerance on the beach for dogs and we could not leave the dog unattended in the apartment, so my husband and I took separate walks on the beach. It would have been nice to have early morning and later afternoon times for our pets. Other than that, if you don’t have a dog, I would highly recommend the locations.
Beautiful beachy room, amazing comfortable king bed (best sleep on my holiday) Nespresso coffee was delicious. Kitchen was perfect for quick and easy meals. Back deck has great seating options. Loungers were relaxing for end of the day. WIFI quick and reliable. Everything you need is there.
Friendly, safe, clean neighborhood. Great for birding around the area, pond and beach. And yes, huge turtles. Loved walking the beach everyday.
Savannah is about 30 min drive. National Park is not far.
Lots of fun for our first trip to Georgia. We both loved this location.
On arrival, discovered that the internet was not working. The info book gave a telephone # 1to “text or call.”. Tried to text but it was a landline. Called and left message. Next day - no response to call and still no internet. Called twice more and no response and no Internet. Third day internet restored, but no communication. Everything else was very good.
Beautiful secluded area. Clean on the inside. Although when we first went into the bathroom we were greeted with an old used makeup rag hanging on the door that looked like it had been sitting there for a while due to its stiffness. If you are an bigger person i do not recommend using the shower as it is pretty cramped. The shower head is about the size of the whole shower itself and it felt almost like i was drowning the whole time i tried to shower. I personally think the decorative shelves next to the shower could be taken out to put in a bigger shower. The trash can is a little confusing because you think it's electric (which it is) but it either didn't work or wasn't plugged in so we didn't really know how to open the lid. Other than those minor issues this place is gorgeous. Beach is easily accessible and i really enjoyed walking over the bridge and being greeted by little turtles.
