The family rooms could do with a bit more updating, also think of having a electric frying pan in the room, rooms should have clothes iron, hangers maybe a clothes airing rack by the spa bath and spa towels also tea towels. Anchorage Resort Taupo
We had nice views of the lake and used the heated spa at the end of the day. The room , a 2 bedroom was large and clean with a large living room and balcony. Easy access to where we parked and the sailing club nearby on the lake had great pizzas, beers and was right on the water.

Cottage Mews Motel
Nice place to stay and great that we could bring our dog. Clean and tidy. Staff friendly and welcoming. Only improvement I can suggest is that the decor needs updating as is quite tired.
