"We stayed in one of the cubes and it was perfect for the three of us (2 kids, 1 adult). Very close to the kitchen and bathrooms. The only thing I would add is a bigger fridge in the kitchen!"

"An almost-new, well appointed motel/apartment a short walk from Twizel town centre. The property had every inclusion we could have wished for, including a dishwasher, microwave and a washing machine/dryer. The elevator up to the first floor units was a welcome surprise. Overall, we couldn't fault the Alps Motel Apartment, and would definitely stay there again. Twizel, too, was excellent."

Our second time staying here and after not being able to book it last year I was told by the other guys to make sure I got in early to get us back here once again. "This property was perfect for our stay as we photographers explored the areas around Twizel and within a day's return journey.Very quiet street and a short drive to the shops.Great kitchen and living area. As there was a couple and myself, we only used the master bedroom and one of the other queen bedrooms which were well sized. The beds were very comfortable, but some new firmer pillows would be good.The recycling heating system was very difficult to operate and did not stay on for very long. Great to have a washing machine, but a dryer would be necessary if the weather was wet. Luckily we were blessed with beautiful sunshine for our 7 days.The hot water tank for the property is not instantaneous, so if you had a house full of people they would need to have very short showers indeed.Great outdoor area and backyard."
