"Not as bad as people criticize, it’s clean, it’s comfortable bedding. NO AC, but they have ceiling fan and portable fan in room. It’s like Las Vegas, you’re not going to spend much time in your room. Flat screen TV is ok, but limited channels. Good shower, clean towels. Needs upgrading, but for the price, it meets the basic requirements."

"The property is beautiful, peaceful and right on the lake. Amazing gardens, delightful host with a most delicious breakfast. They may want to mention the stairs as not everyone may be able to navigate them with ease. The beds were very comfortable and plenty of beautiful home made quilts for the chilly nights."

"It's a great place to stay in Eagle River, Alaska. Everything is like brand new. It is extremely clean. The staff was very helpful and friendly. The only thing I would like to suggest is that some chairs we put outside of the rooms on the walkway so that three is someplace to sit outside when the weather is nice. We will definitely stay there again. Our next visit to Eagle River."

"Clean and well maintained motel. Comfortable mattress. Nice to have a fridge and a microwave. The location is conveniently located to a supermarket and restaurants. It is not Ritz Carlton but exceeded my expectations for a motel."

"When we checked in there was no one at front desk. Rooms were larger than standard hotel room, more like a studio apartment. Air Conditioner was a portable unit running outside through sliding door but worked ok. Location in downtown Palmer is great."

"We loved our stay here for our first trip to Alaska! Chris met us there when we arrived late into the evening due to flight issues. The place was very accommodating and beautiful with a beautiful view! We saw moose and calves every night. One evening a bear came to visit while we were in the hot tub. It was centrally located so that we could fish and site see in many spots. We drove about 3 1/2 hrs to Denali. We flew into Anchorage and was just a 45 min drive away. Highly recommend them and we will be back! Thank you!"
