"Always have stayed at the Bluemont. However, this time, was different. When I booked the reservation almost a year ago, breakfasts were complimentary. One of the reasons I liked staying there. Apparently the hotel has changed hands and they now charge $20 for breakfast. Also there is a charge for overnight parking of $17. Both of these would have been nice to know thru Expedia before the stay because that’s not what I reserved! But because it was Graduation weekend, room rates were ridiculous compared to any other time of year, and now having fees for everything makes it much less appealing. Good luck to Bluemont. We will be changing our next reservation there. "

"This was one of the absolute nicest hotels I’ve stayed at!! Staff was warm and kind, room was beautiful, comfortable and spotless. I must note, the baseboards and even corners in the bathroom were spotless. Great linens, very comfy bed. Thank you!!!! "

"Room was relatively clean but otherwise offered much less then normal for the price point. No ammenities (coffee pot, hair dryer, courtesy shampoo, etc.) and the mattress was absolutly the worst I've experienced."
