"This place was perfect for our week in Maine! The cabins are far from the road and very quiet and peaceful with no traffic noise, almost as if we were transported into the old Maine of 100 years ago, but with the modern amenities of a house. We loved that only three cabins share a large beautiful sandy beach and cove. Great for swimming, paddling, reading, and watching the sunset. The owner and caretaker were very friendly and responsive and the information about the cabins and procedures was very detailed and clear. We can't wait to come back next year."

"Great little cabin on a big pond. More hummingbirds than I've ever seen at the feeders. Loons. Beautiful stars. Clean cabin, comfy beds, lovely outside area. Nice breezes off the lake. Treats to greet us. And a fabulous place to be. You can walk to Schoodic mountain, and explore other ponds and lakes in the area, not to mention the breathtaking coast."

"This cabin is so quaint and perfect. The view was beautiful with a pond down the hill. We enjoyed eating meals outside on the patio and having fires at night. It has a nice open layout with no steps which made it perfect for our daughter. Only downside was no tub. 1 hour drive to bar harbor and 30 minutes to schools peninsula. We will definitely be back for our next family vacation!"

"Andrew's private oasis in Maine met every expectation for our family. Quiet, serene, with unbelievable lake and mountain views from a secluded private cove and beach. Everything you need is present, from kayaks to paddle boards, canoes, adirondack chairs, beach umbrellas, cornhole boards, etc. Even the mile long drive onto the property is amazing! The cabin was perfect for me, my wife and two adult sons, with plenty of space to relax inside or outside on the screened in porch. Everything you need is there, from all the common household appliances, dishware, glassware, etc, and a gas grill outside as a cooking option. We spent most days in the water, which is spring fed and absolutely crystal clear, or on the beach taking in the sun. Sunsets in the evenings are absolutely stunning, with the sun disappearing over Spring River Lake and behind the mountains in the distance. We hiked to the top of Tunk Mountain (not for the faint of heart), and hiked various other trails in the immediate area, barely scratching the surface of the available hiking options. Amazing vistas await on almost every trail. We also spent a day in Bar Harbor and Acadia National Park, which are roughly an hour away and include endless hiking and sight seeing opportunities.Evenings were spent on the beach with cocktails and in the screened in porch playing available board games, which was quite enjoyable for my family. Overall, this property met or exceeded every expectation -- we will be back."
