Dinner at the hotel's restaurant was fabulous. The room was spotless and with comfy beds. Buffet breakfast with a good choice of warm dishes or cold cuts. The highlight was the staff, all very kind and friendly, willingnto accomodate extra requests from my little one. Reccomended!
Nice Hotel owned by a friendly greek family. Modern and comfortable rooms, very good breakfast and very good greek restaurant, easy to reach and not far away from the centrum. We will come again.
Good hotel, nicely located in a very quiet area, with parking. Super-friendly staff, very welcoming. Restaurant too, delicious and varied breakfast included, great dinner too (Greek food) and it was busy. Room: small, OK for 1, tight for 2. No AC so the room was hot through the night; a fan would help. Good small bathroom, functional.
The staff are very nice and friendly. The rooms are clean but the excess decorations seem to accumulate dust. My family and I were feeling allergies the next morning. The location is close to downtown but it's a long walk.

Small, privately owned hotel. Rooms are dated, floors are tiled and freezing cold with cracked/missing grout. Bathroom very small, shower, very small with poor drainage and water goes from freezing to scolding hot within a very tiny adjustment… poor sound insulation, you will hear everyone in the hallway… beds are comfortable, breakfast is adequate and staff is friendly. 10 minute walk to old town center.
We stayed here for 5 nights, 1st - 6th Aug in room 10. We were visiting our daughter at the university.
The hotel was in a great location for us, in a quiet residential street but very near the bus stop from the airport and into Tubingen. It was also an easy walk into Tubingen and handy for the university.
The breakfast was great, lots of choice and a lovely covered outdoor area to eat.
Our room was small and had a sloping ceiling and no air conditioning. It was also quite dark with a small window. Everything was very clean with fresh towels provided everyday.
We would definitely stay here again.
On the plus side, the breakfast at Meteora was delicious, as usual, with plenty of choices. The location was perfect for us, close to the University and a few good restaurants/cafes.This was our second stay at this hotel in just over a week. Our second stay was not as pleasant and welcoming as the first. Perhaps it was because we only stayed for one night. While the rooms on the main floor were convenient to our car, parked right outside our room, they were not as comfortable. Hot water was hit or miss in the shower. Felt very cramped.

Return Customers. Different experiences every time
We stayed in two parts of the Meteora. For the first part of our stay, we were in Nebenhaus which was a short walk from the main hotel. Quiet. Comfortable. Near a shortcut to the main street and buses. Convenient and short walk to restaurants and a cafe. Lots of parking. Loved it there and will request it next time. Breakfast in main hotel is always good. Lots of variety. Great coffee. Did not eat at the Greek restaurant but the menu looked delicious. Second part of our stay was in main hotel. Suggest you avoid Room 10 if you stand over 5’3” Head banging warning and a shower with a mind of its own and tiny. Lots of stairs and no elevator. Friendly staff and helpful when the shower decided to call it a day. Moved us to a great room.
We had two different experiences at this hotel. We stayed for 3 nights then returned for one night. This a review for our 3 night stay.
Hits: Warm welcome, beautiful big room on the third floor with extra space to store our luggage, delicious breakfast which we enjoyed in the sun room, comfortable beds (maybe we were jet-lagged but we slept really well every night}, parking onsite and walkable to a great cafe on the corner and Saints and Scholars pub which we visited a few times. Central to everything Tuebingen has to offer and close to the university which is where we needed to be.
Misses: The shower was hit or miss whether it would be hot or whether you could move around in it. Quite awkward. No elevator which was fine for us but if you are on the upper floors and have a lot of luggage, it's a hike. Not serious misses. We really liked the hotel and used it as a home base for trips to Liechtenstein and France. Would return and ask for the upper floors. There is also an onsite restaurant for dinner serving Greek food that smelled delicious and seemed quite popular but we were never nearby for dinner.
Booked for a one-night stay. It's a restaurant with a hotel + rooms in two neighbour houses, not a hotel with a restaurant. Staff was friendly but that doesn't compensate the otherwise uncomfortable feeling. For the price of more than 100 Euros the performance was way too low, even in Corona times.

Garbage in front of the window : dirty and smelly!
3 horrible nights during work trip. No desk (I had to work on the bed) but the worst was the direct view on the Hotel/restaurant garbage: hot weather during my stay, no Air conditioning so I had to keep my window open at night and suffer from the bad smell and a few insects.
I asked the staff to close the door of the garbage area but it was reopen all the time, with people looking inside my room until 10.00pm. I have never had such a bad experience with a room and the staff didn't offer any solution... disappointing!!
It was so cold as soon as I entered the room, and the floor was so cold that I couldn't walk barefoot.
The bathroom glass was broken, and the broken ventilator was too noisy.
The biggest problem was that when I compared the picture of "hotel.com" with the picture I took, I thought it was a completely different hotel.
I'll never use it again.
