"This is an old hotel, but glad I stayed. Had a front room, stunning view from the 5th floor out into the ocean. The view is even while sitting on the bed. Note: when you come out of the hotel, go right, past the pier, to where the six giant markets are, find the seafood, we bought lobster, crab, shrimp, then walk back the opposite direction, past the hotel, keep walking till you see all the little shops cooking food, they will cook your seafood for a very small price. "Nice location to shop. Walking distance to SM mall, easy to get a ride to Robinsons. Metro Bank next door for ATM needs. Set breakfast was nice. Rooms are a little small but clean. However we had to walk up 4 flights of stairs to get to our room. Staff was courteous and friendly."

"So this iconic spot rocks!! (Excuse the pun) the view and the beach cannot be beat, and the staff is outstanding in every respect. The restaurant is very good, which is a good thing, because there really isn’t a lot of other dinning options nearby. Still, limited dinning takes a back seat to the wonderful setting and relaxing vibe. Of course, this is all true, but you should be aware that if there is one hotel on the island that is a destination for day tourist, it is Mandalong Rock Resort. This simply means that expect to have a full resort every weekend as a number of Instagram wannabes show up to the resort to take countless photos of themselves. And of course, if you’re unlucky enough, you might be treated to a family birthday party with Karoke machine ready to roll over your idealic Vaca. Still, I’d definitely stay here again, but I’d make sure it was on a week day "
