It says a lot when they have a model of the door mechanism in the office so you can try your key to make sure it works. When we arrived, I joked about it. It was no joke. About four other groups arrived at the same time as us, and EVERY ONE OF THEM had a problem with their key and had to get it fixed. The electronic locks were not reading the keys. It was a major turn-off to the place.
The room itself was fine, I guess. Nothing special and definitely not great, either.
Don't get excited that there is free breakfast. There's a sign in the office/breakfast area that says, "We suggest that you take your breakfast back to your room." Yikes. The food offered was adequate, at best, and abysmal for a $100/night hotel. We ended up going to the Circle K across the street because there were better options there.
While we were driving, I told my wife to find a place and this is the one she picked. She regretted the choice immediately when we got to the property. Should've just stayed at the Super 8 down the road--half the price of this dump and a much better room, bed, and breakfast.
