"Absolutely beautiful hotel, we were blown away. One minor issue, we had requested later checkout which we were told there was a fee for - that’s fine so we agreed. Then when my husband checked us out, the gentleman said we wouldn’t be charged for the late checkout - we were delighted! Upon arriving home, we actually were charged. Not a huge deal, but we were a bit put off by it. "

"As prior reviews have said, the location in the Old Quarter is superb. A few minutes walk to the main attractions around Hoen Kiem Lake; for my short stay, many restaurants & plenty to do within walking distance, no need to take taxis. And it's on a small, quiet side street, less chaotic that on the main avenues. Breakfast was very good, lots of variety, tropical juices & they make you eggs to order. Staff very kind & accommodating, & many speak English."

"The staff were exceptional at this hotel, very friendly and helpful. They organised my tour to Ha Long Bay too. Upon check in they knew I was vegetarian (mentioned on my tour booking) and provided me with a list of nearby vegetarian restaurants which was really helpful. Before I set off on the day tour of Ha Long bay they gave me a bag with water and fruit for the journey ahead. Small things but make such a difference. The roof top bar was nice and spacious and the breakfast was good, with western and local options. The shower in the bathroom was a bit small but I didn’t mind as the location was excellent. This hotel was recommended to me through a friend and I will certainly recommend it to others."
