Beautiful property, polite and courteous service. The driver did not have change, so he received a very generous tip from us (better pay with a card at reception if you book a transfer)

The Italko Monastery, 15km South-West of Telavi, in the 6th century was founded by Senon, one of the 13 Syrian missionaries. The original church dates back to the 8th century, but the church as seen today is from the 11th century with beautiful frescos on the inside.
