"Great place to stay if you don't need to be in the centre of Caceres. Amazing choice of food and drink for breakfast, including bubbly! Friendly staff. Lovely big swimming pool. There's also a gym, but didn't go near that!, instead we walked into the town everyday which was a good half hour walk. There's also a regular bus service five mins walk away which gets you into town for just over a euro. Agree to not have your room cleaned and you get 5 euros off your bar bill each night! Only minus...

"First off, we opted for parking at the Hotel which is located at the top of Trujillo. Driving through streets the width of a Gnat’s eyelid in a RHD Land Rover is not for the feint hearted. Lots of one-way streets, some of which we had to fold the wing mirrors in. Once parked, one needed the navigation skills of a Dakar Rally driver to locate the Reception. Very steep metal steps and two lifts meant by the time we found it, we were sweating buckets. Once checked it, we found the Hotel to be...

"This is a very convenient stop-over between Santander and Barbate/Vejer/Conil where we were staying. Simple, clean room,super helpful staff and great food at an amazing price. Free car parking in a plot next to the hotel. We've stayed here before and will do so again."

Surprising perks, including embossed towels, Refrigerator with bottled water, fresh milk, butter, and jam, plus a breakfast spread with muffins, mini-donuts, and cafe con leche. Perhaps the nicest element was an entire private rooftop patio, beautiful lit and furnished. "
