"Some of our family stayed at Oz house while rest stayed at our sons in country. In total there were 26 of us. Wonderful place!!! Loved the theme & the scavenger hunt, our Granddaughter wasn't sure about the Wicked Witch bathroom, but soon she too enjoyed the house. Excellent place to stay."

"Contacted host about dead bugs all over, cobwebs in corners of rooms, grey little bugs that would be in bathroom sinks and upstairs bedroom floor. Host responded with they will let their cleaning team know. I don’t know when the last time the cleaners came in and the host didn’t say when I asked. The last review was in May 2024 and we stay 6/14-6/16/24."

"We had to cut our trip short due to family issues but found the property to be very charming and clean. The kitchen appeared well stocked if you needed to cook meals. Quiet street and safe to walk our dogs. About a 15 minute drive to Saint Joseph."

"This home was great for our family and friends stay for my Son’s Benedictine College Graduation. It is about a 25 minute drive to the College but GPS gets you to and from easily and the drive on the country roads is nice, especially in the spring with everything being so green. The host, Christine, went above and beyond to make sure we were comfortable and had all we needed with many special touches and details including a S’mores basket! You can tell she takes great pride in the home she grew...

"Lovely house with beautiful views! It isn’t fantastic for toddlers because it’s hard to babyproof, but great for all other ages! Very close to a park and the river walk, good amount of space, very nice and clean. Host was responsive to messages and very friendly. No onerous checkout chores or anything!"

Unlike other places where you can’t find spare toilet paper this one has everything you need and things can actually be found. No question I would recommend this property to others."

The neighborhood is mixed residential (houses and apartments) but in general was quiet. The house was spotless and very well-maintained. "I was delighted to find this beautifully renovated home in St. Joseph. Ashley thought of every detail including decorating a Christmas tree. Each room looks like it could be in a magazine. The beds are comfortable, the neighborhood is quiet, and the kitchen has a good selection of cookware and dishes. We hope to stay here next time we're back in town.
