We loved the unit the area was great close to everything, the balcony was great even though we had the back view , was terrific.

Excellent position right in town. Restaurants, pubs, supermarket, and the beach are all within a 5 minute walking distance radius. The managers were excellent, giving us advice on where to eat, as well as lending us some toys to keep our 18 month year old happy!

Value: Not cheap but worth it ;

My partner and I stayed here for three days, two nights. We arrived at 9am on our first day and was shown immediately to our room, which was an unexpected surprise given that the checkin time was 2pm. The Reception staff made us very welcome from the start, offering some helpful hints for our stay and organising transfers, and even a complimentary late checkout. The room, a one bedroom suite, was enormous, large bedroom, two bathrooms, full size kitchen, large lounge/dining room and balcony...

The staff were very helpful. The room was clean and comfortable.

It was a great time also our engagement almost got spilt due to the older lady at the front desk when we checked in. Lucky my parents wasn’t listening to what she said… Overall we loved thala and will be back. Thanks for the great experience!

We were very impressed with this hotel. Lovely welcoming staff make a trip so much more enjoyable. The kitchen was well stocked with crockery, cutlery and cooking utensils, and plenty of room for your own food. TV has a few austar channels and there is a DVD player for which you can borrow dvds from the kiosk for free. Pool area and bbq were very clean. The Sea Temple is a lovely hotel with a great relaxing atmosphere, well looked after facilities, modern rooms (not to forget the incredible spa bath) and fantastic food! You know how you're often disappointed after arriving at a venue that you've booked online? This is NOT one of those venues! What a spectacular location. Very well located on the main street between the inlet and the beach. Generous size rooms and an outside balcony overlooking some greenery. Laundry facilities are not in the room but they are free and accessible. The car park is very tight and would not suit a large car but overall a great place to stay in Port Douglas, and reception staff we’re very friendly

The dishwasher didn't work in Villa 5 The breakfast menu was a little disappointing considering it was supposed to be ala carte breaky included in package. We paid good money to stay there.

The property itself is lovely. The staff were helpful. Dinner was delicious. Our room however wasn’t very clean and had a manky smell. We tried to stay in the communal spaces, which were very pleasant

I stayed at the hotel with 6 other family members and we all enjoyed our time spent there together. Our rooms were clean well maintained, staff were friendly and helpful. The location of the hotel was central and we were able to walk to lots of food outlets and close to the water front also. We enjoyed our breakfast and some food and drinks here also.
