"5 stars — The Cedars was exactly the mountain therapy we needed.We came to Fish Lake for my wife’s birthday looking for a place where our family could slow down, disconnect, escape the Texas heat and experience the Cascades together. From the moment we arrived, The Cedars gave us exactly that.The chalet feels like a true mountain retreat. It is tucked away on beautiful Fish Lake, surrounded by mountains and wildlife, yet close enough to Plain, local restaurants, Lake Wenatchee and Leavenworth that you never feel isolated. It was the perfect combination of remote and connected.The home itself was exceptionally clean, comfortable and well cared for. We comfortably had six people staying together, the sheets and bedding felt hotel-grade, the hot tub warmed us up on the cold nights, and the game room entertained kids and adults alike. The hosts were consistently responsive whenever we had a question.The setting is what truly makes The Cedars unforgettable. We drank coffee overlooking the lake, watched sunsets from the dock, kayaked, fished, watched ospreys dive into the water, and chatted with chipmunks around the chalet. We explored trails and beaches around Lake Wenatchee, ventured into Leavenworth for authentic Bavarian fun, and came home each day to our own little mountain lake retreat.We came looking for mountains, adventure, wildlife, family time and the chance to experience somewhere new. The Cedars gave us all of it.We would absolutely stay here again."
