"Commode was stopped up on arrival and the heat had not been turned on since last winter. When we did turn on the heat, the smoke and smell was awful and immediately set the smoke alarm off. Staff was helpful bringing a plunger for the commode and helped to clear the smoke out of our room. Good stay followed. Breakfast was great !"

"The house was delightful and the bed was super-comfy. Jon and Ramon welcomed us to the property and gave us great advice on a dinner spot. Lady, the sweet dog, also said hello. We enjoyed walking through the garden rooms outside while having a nice cup of coffee. One of the hosts is a talented artist with a distinctive style that is very thought-provoking, and we enjoyed the opportunity to see his work. "

"Beverly had provided everything we needed to make our time in Laurel memorable. She gave us lots of information about things to do and places to see, and this was topped off with a beautiful home away from home. The property was as picturesque as the listing; clean and fresh, and we especially appreciated the hand written welcome sign. The property had a relaxing deck area out back and we were blessed with being able to sit in the sunshine. Beverly also made us some cookies and we got to meet her and Don before continuing our road trip. Our time in Laurel will be one we talk about for years to come. "

"WONDERFUL vintage property! Excellent amenities: snacks; water; books; ice; coffee. VERY well-stocked kitchen and bathroom (several NICE, THICK towels and toilet paper). CLEAN! Comfortable beds and furniture! Extra bedding. Hot, wonderful shower (w/body wash; shampoo; conditioner). Roomy bathroom. If in area again, will definitely stay!"
