"We had a wonderful stay and would definitely recommend this property. One suggestion would be to update the listing photos, as many appear to have been taken in the winter. The lake and surrounding area are absolutely spectacular during the warmer months and deserve to be showcased.The home is very well maintained and one of the best-stocked vacation rentals we’ve stayed in. There were plenty of towels, extra blankets, and the kitchen had everything we needed. We also loved the dock area and appreciated having access to the kayaks and paddle boats. The only maintenance item we noticed was that some of the dock boards are weathered, cracked, and beginning to deteriorate from sun exposure.A few additional details in the listing would make arrival and the stay even smoother. More specific driving directions would be helpful, as our GPS took us on a few wrong turns, which was challenging while towing both a fishing boat and an enclosed UTV trailer. It would also be helpful to mention the bedroom layout (two bedrooms upstairs and two downstairs), note that the dishwasher is powered by a kitchen light switch, and include information about the public boat launch located around the lake. It worked well for our fishing boat, though larger boats may find it a bit more difficult.Overall, this is a fantastic property with excellent amenities, and we thoroughly enjoyed our stay. We’d gladly stay here again."

"Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was spotless. I was more than happy with the location. I was very satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Along with our two dogs, we stayed with longtime friends early July at Skipping Stone. The property was very clean, and we were impressed with the very well-equipped kitchen, filtered water pitcher, the oscillating fans and child gate that kept our dogs restricted to the upper floor. There was plenty of seating inside and out, with a wonderful deck looming over the lake that was perfect for sunsets and allowing our oldest dog outside access without constantly keeping an eye on him.While the lake was very quiet, we were a little surprised to see lily pads surrounding the dock and stretching into the bay on our left to the south, since online images didn’t show any. That kept us from enjoying the water as much as we would like, but they did keep the few boats and other watercraft away from the property and the smell of the flowers opening was very enjoyable. "

"Absolutely great location if wanting easy access to snowmobile trail. Park sleds in back and exit to the side with easy crossing across highway to trail. Very nice quite neighborhood location, where you can sit and watch the deer that visit daily. Heated concrete floors were great for snowy boots and wet paws. Great layout with secluded primary suite and secondary bedrooms divided by bathroom. Owner even has dog bowls for the pooch and pooper scooper out back. Actually wanted to extend our stay, unfortunately there was a booking behind us. Would definitely recommend and will book again for future trips."

"We stayed here in the winter and it was incredible. We loved everything about it and want to book our next trip already. We did forget to bring bath towels, oops! This was clearly communicated to us we just missed it - just a note to future travelers."
