The apartment is let down by a number of minor- easy to recify- items.There is no dining table and chairs- you have to eat at breakfast bar with high stools. There are no bedside tables for lamps etc. There is no coffee table,The apartment would be revolutionised if the owners spect Euro 600 on furniture.I would still recommend the apartment, Great location with a great view."

"Our host Hervé, Amélee and family are really nice people. Although the studio is part of their home, we were given the utmost privacy, seeing them on the odd occasion. The studio is a super base to explore the region, and is close to the lake, and cycle route. We rarely used our vehicle, instead, cycling to Annecy and Doussard. "My wife and I stayed for three nights in the Luxury Triple, and had an amazing experience. The hotel is beautiful, spotless, the staff are a true delight and it's a wonderful mix of creative design blending the original chapel building into a modern hotel. Every detail is meticulously attended to. The location is an easy 7-10 minute walk from the train station and very walkable to the historic core village and the lake. The staff was always smiling, helpful and spoke great English and were patient with our feeble attempt at French. The room was spacious, bed and pillows along with the large sofa were brand new and quite comfortable. Loved the private patio off of the room's sliding glass doors. It was incredibly quiet and not a loud setting with kids running around (no offense, I had young kids once), so it's good for couples. I highly recommend purchasing the breakfast, which we enjoyed with its great food selection in a truly French way, along with wonderful staff and delicious coffee. The bar is beautiful and you must take time to enjoy it as well during your stay. My ONLY suggestion is to add a mini-fridge to the room. Highly recommend Hotel La Chapelle!"
