"Overall it was a lovely place to spend the night - we had no complaints. However, in the staffing department they were truly exceptional. Everyone went out of their way to help. Not one person rolled their eyes at my kids or my stupid questions, and they went out of their way to help us. I also noticed that the evening staff communicated with the morning staff so they already knew that we had some weird requests and were ready to help us. It was so thoughtful! When I said thank you, one of the employees said that as a staff they all worked together because they got along well. I've always noticed that when management is nice to their workers it trickles down to the customers or patients (or whatever.) But it makes sense that all the employees getting along would have a similar effect. But whatever the reason, every person at this hotel was beyond kind, so thank you! And also the coffee at breakfast was excellent :)"

"The only real problem I had was with the valet staff. They were not helpful at all. They even left our car sticking out in the driving lane and walked away. Luckily our car didn’t get hit by a car going down the road. The hotel isn’t in the nicest area. I should have done some more research on the neighborhood. The hotel itself was clean, breakfast was average. The happy hour was a nice perk. There is a lot to do within walking distance or a quick uber ride."

"The Sofitel is a go to for me when I'm visiting Philly. It's centrally located with walking access to any number of bars/restaurants, comedy clubs and music venues. Rittenhouse Square offers a great outdoor space to simply chill. Most of all, the hotel is clean, well appointed, and as peaceful as one might reasonably expect in the center of town. Rooms were very nice and met my requirements. The bar and restaurant offered a nightcap after my night out."
