Toddy's Cabin

Toddy's Cabin, located near the Trempealeau Lakes, is a 2 bedroom rustic cabin located between the Mississippi River and Second Lake. The Cabin, just off the main lake road, sleeps up to 5. The Cabin is walking distance away from multiple public fishing and hunting areas. Within a 1/4 mile of the Cabin you will find Lock and Dam 6, the Trempealeau Marina and boat launches to access Pools 6 and 7 of the Mississippi River. Visitors may also enjoy hiking and bird watching at Perrot State Park, the Federal Wildlife Refuge or simple kayaking the backwaters. The Great River Bike Trail is nearby as well as many other site seeing adventures. The Cabin is located a short 20 minute drive to either Winona, MN or La Crosse, WI.

Loved the large screened porch and private yard! Inside the cabin was clean and comfortable. It is the only place on the last hundred yards or so of a dead end road. A short walk from the Mississippi River and a 5 minute drive or 25 minute walk to a beautiful State Park with great hiking. If you are a light sleeper the trains might be an issue but we thought it was cool to have those distant train whistles.

Wonderful getaway at Toddy's Cabin

Cabin was cozy and comfortable. Enjoyed the yard and privacy of the area. Close to beautiful Perrot State Park and some good restaurants. My wife and I and our dogs had a really great time unwinding at the cabin and exploring the Trempealeau area. We would not hesitate to recommend or come back.

Great stay

Staying at Toddy's cabin was a great fit for the 3 of us. The cabin was very clean and well-stocked. We loved hiking at Perrot, the upper Mississippi wildlife refuge, and the location near the river. Also enjoyed the Elmaro winery and small town spots. Many thanks!

Visit to Coulee Country

We had a great time at Toddy’s cabin. Nice and cozy, great porch for hanging out and listening to birdsong, and great location. Close to Van Loon wildlife area, Perrot State Park and Trempealeau Wildlife Refuge, and Elmore Winery. Highly recommended.

Great Place

My husband and I along with our 2 dogs had a wonderful stay in this cabin. Just enough room for us and yet all the comforts of home. Cell phone service was excellent so having no wifi was actually a nice change of pace. Not a lot of channels but we weren't really there to watch TV. Screened in porch was nice and the dogs loved sitting out there in the sun! Will be staying there again soon. Thanks for having us!

We came to the cabin to celebrate our adult daughters birthday. We always loved the area and now found a great home base for future family celebrations. Cozy fall connection

Toddy's had a cozy cabin feel with the pine interior, comfy beds, handy kitchen, welcoming table and living room with fire place. We enjoyed the screened porch with a campfire view, sound of rain and inviting gliders. The cabin is near town and located on a peaceful path and a short distance from hiking at a beautiful state park along the river. The host was very quick to respond. He made sure we got a lighter when we discovered the lighters were missing from the usual spot. There was lots of dry firewood situated near the fire ring. It was a great place to stay and very relaxing.

Excellent mini vacay!!

All lived up to our satisfaction. Our goal was to have a quiet and relaxing Thanksgiving. Read, craft and listen to some smooth jazz with a glass of wine and a warm fire. The cabin was spotless and very well stocked. It does not have an oven but has a generous sized toaster oven and gas grill. We thought we would need to cook our turkey breast on the grill but it fit comfortably on the toaster oven. Our meal come together perfectly. The bed and pillows were extremely comfortable. Not much else say, we left there feeling very relaxed and pleased that we executed our plan to runaway over Thanksgiving! Highly recommend Toddy’s Cabin.

Relaxing place on a Mississippi trip

Well-maintained cabin not far from Lock 6 on the Mississippi river. Has a screened porch, useful on days when mosquitos are active. There is a fire pit with firewood to enjoy evenings outside. A gas grill is also on-site to grill some steaks, should you decide to. Beds are comfortable. Owners take great care to make sure your experience is as good as it can be.
