We were very happy with the house for the week, and would definitely stay again. Beautiful views of the lake, very nice house, dock and water were pristine. No issues at all during our stay.
What a beautiful home to stay in! The windows on the back of the house offer great views of the lake! The kitchen is well-equipped. There was lots of room for the 8 of us to relax and enjoy! We all had a great time and would like to go back and stay at Long Lake Fox Den!
This property is in the best location, close to many parks and hiking trails! Also not far to Traverse City and they have so many excellent restaurants and shos. The house is new and well taken care of with stunning views of Long Lake and an island! The house is also equipped with everything you would want!’
Long Lake Fox Den was the perfect location to celebrate my wife's birthday with our family. There was plenty of room for everyone, including our two dogs. The layout was perfect for hanging out, socializing, playing games and watching football together! The property is also very close to Traverse City and all the restaurants and shops. We'll definitely look to book again nextvtime we're in TC!
We have rented numerous properties world wide and this beautiful home ranks among the best! The home and neighborhood was spectacular. Beautiful views of the georgous lake, clean to my very high standards and well apppointed in every way. This home could easily accomdate multiple familes as the bedrooms are well spaced among 2 levels with various areas to relax and enjoy the view while also allowing privacy between the spaces. Nice neighborhood to walk amomg the beautfil forest of trees. Just wish we could have stayed longer!!
Beautiful property right on the lake. Can’t say enough good things about Katy the property manager. My flight was delayed and the property was rented in my name. She got information and worked overtime to get our two other couples access to the house. In the future we will have at least two names on the rental agreement. She was wonderful.
We were so impressed with this property! Clearly the home is beautiful, but it was also the perfect layout for our family get together. Different areas to spend time and plenty of seating.
We had our baby with us and there is a separate “apartment” type room down a separate set of stairs. Made nap and early bedtimes easier.
The kitchen was well equipped which made meals at the house easy.
The lake around the dock was about waist deep. Easy to hangout in. The neighborhood is also lovely for walks and exploring.
Can’t say enough nice things about our stay!
We had an absolutely wonderful stay at Long Lake Fox Den! The home is clean, comfortable, and well-maintained, with everything you need for a relaxing getaway. The neighborhood is quiet, safe, and welcoming, which made it easy to unwind. The location is ideal—tucked away for peace and quiet, but just minutes from all that M22 has to offer. Traverse City, Suttons Bay, and Leland are all close by, which gave us plenty of options for exploring. The extra touches really made a difference: having a garage to park in was a big plus, and the EV charger on site was extremely convenient. If you’re staying here, make sure to stop at Boone’s for a great meal—it’s right nearby and absolutely worth it!We would definitely stay here again and highly recommend it to anyone visiting the area.
House was great ! Master bed very squeaky! It is disappointing that this house is on the lake but does not offer any kayaks or paddle boards to use . Most houses that I have stayed at on the water have water vessels available for use . It would also be nice to have a hot tub.Other then that the veiw is beautiful and the house was very comfortable.
My wife and I stayed at the property the last week of October for 8 days. The house is beautiful with several high-end touches like the molding around the doors and windows, the tremendous views and high-end appliances. The area was quiet and was very walkable. Use of the garage was bonus. We would gladly rent here again. The fireplace was not accessible to guests. We would suggest that the description of the property include the induction oven and the lack of cable service. We had never used an induction oven and burned over 20 dollars of food before we figured it out. Our inexperience was the problem because once we figured it out, we were fine. The lack of cable means you need to bring all your passwords for your streaming services and remember to take them out when you leave. The UTube TV was working without needing a sign in and we were not sure if this was the on the house or someone just forget to sign off. With UTube TV you do not really need cable to get at local stations. Our experience was perfect, very relaxing, and wonderful for enjoying the late fall colors.
