The most convenient place I have stayed in downtown Traverse City for sure. The location can't be beat as it is on the main shopping strip. Very quiet, can't hear the building noise or street noise.
Perfect location and size for a Girls Weekend!! Right in the middle of everything, short walk to the beach, and right across the bridge from a farmers market. Would absolutely reccomend and stay again.
We really enjoyed our stay at this location. It's centrally located on Front Street so we walked downtown quite a bit. I was a little concerned about parking but the lot is right across the river and easily accessible via a footbridge. We were never there during Pangea's working hours so the noise was not an issue for us. The overall condition of the unit is in good shape so no problems to speak of. Would definitely consider staying there again.
My family with 3 young kids loved staying here! We were in Traverse City during Cherry Festival and the location couldn’t have been more convenient. We loved being able to easily walk to the festival, beach, splash pad, restaurants and more! Then we slept wonderfully in the comfortable beds. The pizza restaurant above is delicious, however does tend to cause some noise during their operating hours but it did not interrupt our stay. My husband loved the bottle of Cherry Bourbon that was included :)
Some highlights for my family were the Traverse City Pit Spitters baseball game, Sleeping Bear Dunes and Jacob’s Farm for dinner/playground/fruit picking.
We would definitely stay here again and recommend to others!
While not very large, the location and service makes up for it!
This was a great place to stay right in the middle of downtown Traverse City.
The host was very good with communication. Checking was easy.
Parking is not easy if you have multiple vehicles, but that has nothing to do with the owner. But we worked it out.
Everything you need is the walking distance.
When we come back, we will definitely look to stay here again.
Was with a group of friends from HS, and appreciated the bars and Cherry Festival beer tent being within easy walking distance, as well as the public beaches.
Very convenient location in downtown Traverse City, walking distance to almost everything! Property had everything you could need and owner was very communicative and quick with response. Definitely recommend staying here!
The place is small, but was perfect for our group of girls. I wouldn't put more than one person on the bunk beds though, they creek when you move. Overall had a great experience!
Amazing location and easy access to beach and restaurants. Check in instructions could be made more clear on keyed entrance. Parking pass was not left so rental company claimed to reimburse for parking fees. Parking garage was a long walk from rental unit.

Under the pizzeria, pros and cons
Hair in shower on arrival, crumbs/dirty floors, super noisy environment for sleeping. Bunk beds were creaky loud but comfy. Main bed was great. Slipped on ice out the back in the morning. Key access worked great, tv sinks toilet couches all in great working shape
The location can't be beaten. We were able to walk to all the places we wanted to go in the city. Though there is no parking at the property, we had no issues unloading and the parking lot is just a short walk away. The unit was clean and stocked with basic needs (toilet paper, paper towels, towels, etc.). As others have said, you do hear people above in the restaurant. It wasn't an issue for us in the evening as we were typically out until after they closed. We turned on the fan to create white noise which helped in the morning. If your party has light sleepers, it may be an issue.
We really enjoyed our stay and would book again.

When we first arrived we noticed right away there was no parking pass, the landlord was very great with communication about it overnighted to us and compensating us for parking. We stayed Mon-Fri and the pass never came and we ended up paying for parking the whole time, but that aside the landlord did pay us back every cent and then some so I would never hold that against them, the previous renters took the pass with them. The other thing I have a gripe about is when we first walked in we were hit with a faul smell that lingered throughout the entire studio. I guess the landlord had a rug steam cleaned, which stayed extremely wet our entire stay so we couldn’t walk in the room where the tv was and it gave off a horrible smell the stunk up the entire place. We tried to be gone or out of place as much as possible. Also mentioned in the listing but not in fine print is that it’s below a pizza place, it stays pretty busy until late and they are up and working pretty early so just to point out if you like to sleep in or go to bed early, this wouldn’t be the place to stay. But the location is on point to being in the heart of downtown and across from the lake!! It was beautiful!

Girls Trip
Came to MI for a girls trip. Checked into this condo, which was clean and prepared for us. We entered and saw that while the online listing says the condo sleeps 9 people, it would be hard to sleep more than 6 comfortably. There is one queen bed, one pullout sofa (queen size), and a bunk bed (double size on top/bottom) - but there were only four of us so that was not an issue. The bathroom, a decent size, is basically one open room - including the open shower (no door or shower curtain). When we woke the next morning, the condo had unfortunately flooded. Water was coming in from all walls, with about an inch of water in the front half of the condo (this condo is underground, below the pizza shop). We called the host of this property, who said that we could relocate or they could clean the water and we could stay. We opted to stay since the relocation option would have taken us further from the ideal location, and were told the water would be cleaned up while we were out (kayak bike and brew, highly recommend). The flooding soaked one of my friends’ entire wardrobe and ruined my blow dryer. It derailed our entire morning. After returning from our trip, we requested partial or complete refund for the condo, but were told that since we contacted the host prior to contacting VRBO, it would be the hosts’ decision. This host declined to provide any refund or consolation, and did not seem at all regretful of the situation. Location of this condo is great, but would not recommend.

Won't fit 9
It was a great location being right downtown. Pangea's was a fantastic place for a great pizza dinner. Crossing the street in our pj's the following morning for a quick breakfast at Good Harbor coffee shop was fun. The condo is smaller than in the pictures. It's too small for 9 people. 4 or 5 is just right. Place is cozy and clean. The top bunk bed was rickety and made too much noise. I also did not expect to have to strip the beds and take out the trash, I thought that's what the cleaning fee was for. I had to strip 4 beds, including the top bunk. It was a lot of work. I also washed the dishes because there is no dishwasher and the check in instructions said to run the dishwasher. I wish they had indicated all that requirement prior to booking. I received too many repetitive emails from booking to check in. I think there was something wrong with the system. The DACK app you were required to download was clunky and I had to reach out to IT and I am pretty tech-y. I requested a late check in at 12 nn when I booked and I didn't get a response on that until the night before check in and they declined, over a month after I booked. Despite that, we had a lot of fun because downtown offered a lot of options.
The property was newer and VERY conveniently located on Front St. (downtown TC).
Pros:
-Location, location, location
-Updated/new decor
-Mattress's were very comfortable
-Food options right upstairs!
Cons:
-Being right below a pizza place, it is loud. Early AM arrival of staff, and the closing crew doing their thing in the PM was rather distracting during kids bedtimes. Moving tables and chairs really "echoed" in the residence.
-Bunk bed needs to be tightened or replaced. Incredibly bothersome squeaks (enough to wake others) with every single movement.
-no parking on site (you are given a parking pass) could be annoying with a lot of coming and going. For our trip we stayed close to downtown and walked.
Overall a very nice place and super convenient for adults (booz'n), but I would stay elsewhere with children or light sleepers.
