Summary: Golden Lofts condos offer the ultimate Traverse City travel experience. This newly constructed, stylishly appointed one bedroom/one bath unit is located above Golden Shoes on the downtown corridor of the lakeshore town that's on everyone's list of places to go. Shops, restaurants, and bars are all just steps away. And it's the perfect hub for exploring the rest of this beautiful region we call Up North. ALL guests must be 25+ unless accompanied by a parent/guardian.
The Space: It's a 21 step climb to the Lofts entry on the 2nd floor. Open main living and kitchen space equipped with large screen smart TV, and fully stocked kitchen, 703 square feet. 1 bedroom - with king bed, large closet. Living room has a sleeper sofa. 1 Bathroom with walk-in shower; bathroom closet is outfitted with a stacked washer & dryer.
Original exposed brick, modern fixtures and features create the perfect mix of history and contemporary style. This unit faces the rear of the building.
This Unit is on the second floor, please note the stairs are a little steep. There is no elevator.
**There are security cameras at the main door entry, and in the Loft Level Entryway.
Guest Access: Enter off the alley on the south side of the building. Once inside, there is a long staircase which will take you to the second floor entryway where all four Golden Lofts units can be accessed. Units one and two are alley - facing while three and four overlook Front St. Please note there is no elevator.
The Neighborhood: A bike rack is located outside the back of the Golden Lofts/Golden Shoes building and is there for your convenience. WMG Properties is not responsible for any damaged or stolen bikes or equipment.
Getting Around: **GUESTS WILL RECEIVE ONE FREE PARKING SPACE BELOW UNIT - Parking for additional vehicles will include metered parking in the nearby parking garage**
HARDY GARAGE – Location: 303 East State Street- with another entrance on Front Street. (this is the closest garage to your unit.) OLD TOWN GARAGE- Location-125 East Eighth Street (between Cass and Union Streets, which is one block to the west, and 5 blocks south.) Please be sure to follow any posted signage to avoid being towed or fined.
EV charger: In the parking garages you can use the EV chargers located throughout.
Other Things to Note: Please Note: All guests staying at this property must be 25 or older unless accompanied by a parent or guardian. This will be verified after booking confirmation.
A damage waiver fee is required by Golden Swan for each stay. For this property, the fee is $49 and provides our guests with accidental damage coverage up to $500. If the amount of damage exceeds this, or if the damage is found to have occurred with malicious intent, Golden Swan retains the right to seek damages beyond that amount.
High chair and pack n play available upon request for an additional fee.
There is a non-refundable credit card processing fee applied to all reservations.
If the reservation is 14 days or longer there will be a required mid-stay clean. This is also available upon request for a shorter length of stay.

Right in the middle of downtown, steps away from shops, cafes, restaurants. Main windows look out on a busy parking lot and alley, but it's a nice view nonetheless. The perfect home base for a trip to explore TC and surrounding area -- we had a great stay here and would book again!
The property was absolutely perfect for our anniversary weekend. Could not have asked for a better location, welcoming environment, and perfect loft. It felt like we were home. would stay here again in a heartbeat. Just loved it!
Beautiful and clean!!! Much bigger than anticipated. Nice size bathroom and kitchen. Close to the beach, downtown, and activities. Considering it’s in the heart of town. It was very quiet. Owner was fabulous to deal with. You can’t go wrong with this property. It has it all! Definitely will rent this property again.
We stayed here with our family of 4 and loved it! It was very clean with nice amenities. The communication, including the check in/out process, was excellent. It’s located downtown with a dedicated parking spot just feet from the entrance and very easy access to the main shopping district. The unit is located on the backside of the building which overlooks an alley / parking areas rather than Front St. And you do have to walk up a stairwell to access. Overall, we highly recommend!

Stayed for the weekend with my spouse for a quick getaway and would definitely come back! Location was perfect with being right downtown and even with the parking garage being a short walk away it was no inconvenience! The interior finishes are stunning and it is just so clean! It has everything you could have needed had you wanted to stay in for meals but hard to do so with some many great places so close by. Would absolutely recommend for friends and family to stay here! Can’t wait to come back!
Wow!!!! This place was amazing. Absolutely stunning interior in totally renovated historic building right on Front Street. So many fun restaurants, bars and stores literally steps away, although the place was very quiet inside. The bed was so comfy with great pillows and luxurious towels in the large bathroom. The kitchen was complete with everything you would need, incl coffee for the coffee maker and a welcome bottle of wine.
(Note that overnight parking is available 2.5 blocks away (6 min walk) which was no problem for us and what you expect in an urban setting.)

The loft was by far one of the nicest my wife and I have stayed at. Great location. Everything within walking distance. looking forward to our next booking
Very cute place and a great location to visit surrounding cites and wineries. Its right downtown so we walked to dinner and breakfast. Parking was a couple blocks away but we knew that from the listing. Couch is small and not comfortable for watching TV, rained the couple nights/days we were there but that was not a big deal as most would be out on the town. Overall would highly recommend.
