"We had a delightful visit to Avignon, using all three apartments offered by this host. The apartments were spread across four floors and provided plenty of room for my family to spread out. As the listing states, it is eclectically decorated with lots of odds and ends all over. We could never locate the laundry machine, but there was a great laundromat nearby. The location was superb for exploring Avignon."

Juste une petite remarque, l'annonce parle d'une chambre et d'une cuisine. En fait, c'est la même pièce mais cela n'a rien de gênant. Un mini bémol que nous avons expliqué à notre hôtesse : les WC, séparés de la douche certes par une cloison, n'ont pas de porte. "La location était très propre avec tout le confort, notre hôte, discret mais toujours disponible et à notre écoute. Notre chienne Ruby a passer un excellent séjour, jardin entièrement sécurisé avec un espace extérieur pour courir et faire ses besoins. A 1/4 d'heure du centre ville de Carpentras en voiture nous avons découvert le marché de producteurs sur les conseils de Nicolas Qu'elle belle surprise! je recommande vivement cette halte."

"Loved our time at Central Hotel! Great location, the place could just use a little spiffing up. It gave us everything we needed and loved the location! Would definitely recommend a room with a view."

"To be fair, this once elegant property is in a great location and the breakfast buffet & morning restaurant staff were excellent. Also, we were there in the middle of a severe heat wave, so staff and systems were strained to the max. Housekeeping staff were VERY NICE, but Front Desk - not so much. Our room's A/C fan was on maximum and it simply wasn't able to keep up. By Day2 of our stay, water began dripping from the ceiling steadily - we had to physically move our bed away from it. Since the hotel was booked with a large group tour 2 nights of our stay, there was no food for dinner for us on those nights. Literally, the overwhelmed staff told us to "Go away". So French! All in all this once wonderful hotel needs updating. We loved it's historic ambience and location but encounters with rude and overwhelmed staff weren't very nice at all. The good news is it was only 1 block from a very nice Italian bistro with great coffee, wonderful ice cream and cheerfully friendly staff. We loved Avignon but not in 100 degree heat with everything and everybody stressed to the maximum."

"Our room was gorgeous and spacious. The bathroom was very spacious as well. We enjoyed the reservations made by the staff. The bell staff was friendly and very helpful overall. The valet parking was extremely helpful given the location. We enjoyed the experience overall including breakfast and the bar. We appreciated the AC given the heat wave at the time. We would definitely recommend this hotel given the fantastic hospitality and location."

"7 min easy driving to the Avignon city center. Provided plenty of parking spot. The property is clean, luminous with relaxed atmosphere. Receptionist was very friendly. The room was crispy clean, nice bedding. AC worked really well. Only minus point was a room layout. We stayed in Classic room with 2 twin beds. The shower room section was not completely divided (toilet was separated). Only with a curtain. So that the sound and light bother someone stays in bed. Also the steam goes to the bed section. Even though we liked our stay here. Definitely we come back if we're here."
