This one may be off the beaten path, but it was in great proximity to many things to do! It was isolated and private, yet felt safe and we woke to beautiful views of Denali on a blue sky day! Plenty of room for four adults. We enjoyed lots of evenings on the back deck, were able to cook great meals, and were surprised that it had WiFi and TV! We enjoyed a great visit with our military son/wife, as well as, activities such as hiking Denali State Park, Zip Lining, and the small town of Trapper Creek and Talkeetna!
The cabin and property are wonderful! The location is back in and is a beautiful setting. The cabin was very clean and cozy. We actually had an amazing view of Mt. McKinley from the cabin. The hosts are very easy to communicate with and are warm and friendly. I would highly recommend!
Nine of us stayed at the cabin with the plan to go around Talkeetna and remove ourselves from bigger tourist areas. We had fun and appreciated the cabin.
We had a great time! Everything was great, well appointed and comfortable. Mosquitos were bad but that's not the host's fault and plenty of bug spray and a zapper was very helpful. We didn't do much but sleep there and wished we had more time for the lake. A bit off the beaten path but probably just what snowmobilers want. I highly recommend this rental!
We had a nice stay at the cabin. Beds were incredibly comfortable. Kitchen was small, but it served its purpose. We enjoyed going canoeing as a family on the provided watercraft. The lake was just beautiful. Property managers were very kind, though had some tech issues so we had a few missed communications among us - not unheard of in wild Alaska. Oliver, the dog, was a friendly welcoming face, too. :) I wished there were laundry on site at this price point. Also, the toilet broke twice while we were there one night. The first time, the property manager quickly came over to fix it. The second time was in the middle of the night, so I had to do some light plumbing on my vacation. That was the only major negative in my book, especially given the expense.
