Trani is a charming town overlooking the Adriatic Sea, dating back to the Norman era when Frederick II of Swabia made it one of his main coastal fortresses. The marina is a marvel, dotted with traditional fishing boats and dominated by the town’s symbol, the magnificent Cathedral of San Nicola Pellegrino, built with the characteristic local stone and towering over the seascape.
