"This is a beautiful winery in the hills of Tramonti. Maria and Alfredo Basileo are very friendly and provide great service and meals. The apartment was spacious with a nice bathtub/ shower. The scenery and vineyard are stunning. They grow most of their own food and almost everything is locally sourced. Try Alfredo's homemade preserves and limoncello!"

"There were no signs to the hotel which made it difficult to find in its remote location. The sign was to a resturant with a different name. No air conditioning or fan. The receptionist left at night and locked us in the hotel. The promised breakfast did not appear so left at 8.30 through the fire escape. Very disapointing."

"La casa es muy dificil de encontrar. Cuándo la encuentras, no hay ningún letrero ni rotulo informativo. Nada de ada. La casa wstaba cerrada a cal y canto. Por lo expuesto, tuvimos que ir a dormir a otro lado. Pensando que mos habiamos equivocado, regresamos y todo seguia igual. Sin un solo farol. Finalmente aparecieron 3 personas, a las 21:30 horas, para abrir la casa. Impresentable. Y no esta a 2 km del mar, sino a 9.5 km. Y la piscina que se anuncia no funciona. "

"This little gem in the town of Gette is everything an Italian country bed and breakfast should be. The rooms are small but comfortable and clean, and offer a breathtaking view of the region's mountains. Gette is secluded enough to offer privacy and an authentic Italian experience but is easily reachable from the town of Maiori via bus or car. Finally, the innkeepers provide a delicious breakfast every morning and work hard to create a peaceful environment."

"A wonderful way to experience the real Italy. The host was helpful, informative and went out of his way to guide and assist us. Set in a hillside village but only 15 minutes minutes from a beach and the glorious Amalfi coast and all its wonders. Would not hesitate in recommending villa Citarella. It is somewhere to escape the bustling crowds."

"A must stay! Everything was perfect…the front desk staff were so kind and friendly and professional. The room was exceptional and the property was absolutely beautiful. The restaurant….wow! It is a Michelin star restaurant. The food was absolutely outstanding. We have never had such amazing servers before. They made our meal even better. Absolutely wonderful restaurant experience. I highly recommend this hotel and be sure to try the restaurant and the roof top patio. Well worth it! "

"On the whole we enjoyed our stay. The balcony was great, bed comfy and a nice bathroom.the staff friendly and helpful. We did have issues… the air con was noisy and we couldn’t turn it off until a staff member came. Air con from other rooms was noisy as were people scrapping chairs across the tiled floors at all times night and day, and locally there was a small dog that constantly yapped from dawn to dusk, however these are problems everywhere. I can recommend Maiori as a base for the Amalfi...
