"The facility was not as up to date as we hoped. The hallways and elevator smelled of cigarette and marijuana smoke. The shower was a little hard to operate, but it was functional. It was advertised that they had pancakes and tacos for breakfast, but the pancake machine was out of order and no tacos. We had some cold cereal and prepackaged muffins instead. Staff were very friendly. We were thankful we found a place to sleep on short notice, but wish we knew it was more run down than what we saw in the pictures."

"Room was decent for the price! Quiet and clean. The room didn’t have a blow dryer, which I found odd. Maybe I needed to ask for one at the front desk? But luckily, I brought one with me. Shower was a bit small but it worked. Towels were on the thin side too but for a room under $100/night I guess that’s the norm. I’d definitely stay here again! In my eyes, it was an above average room for the price."

"The parking was well lit, though I was a little concerned about being able to get in the back doors of the building at all hours of the night without using my key (which the sign said i'd need). It seemed quite unsecured. The hallway and elevator smelled very strongly of marijuana. When I brought it to the attention of the staff, she just apologized and did nothing else. My room itself was clean and well supplied."

"The staff was non existant! The night person left her shift early, the overnight staff member showed up 16 minutes late. Did not approach the desk went to a back room for almost another 10 minutes. Meanwhile my tub had standing water, no hot water and no way of turning the tv off without unplugging it becuase there was no remote in the room. The staff member that left immediately after checking me in left many people sitting at a bar and about 15 or more people in the lobby. The hotel is beautiful but unfortunately not staffed properly and some small issues that cannot fix themselves. The front desk in the am was kind an apologetic but saud she could not help me with payment that i would have to reach out to expedia and that she would also."

"The housekeeping staff was extremely helpful and friendly throughout our stay. They consistently made sure we had fresh towels and clean bed linens, which we really appreciated. The breakfast was also reliable each morning, and the air conditioning unit handled the unpredictable Midwest weather surprisingly well. The standout feature of this hotel was definitely the staff. Every interaction we had was professional, prompt, and positive. They created a welcoming, family-friendly atmosphere that made our extended stay much more comfortable. The only issue we had was with the pool. We specifically booked this hotel because the amenities listed included a pool, but during our nearly 3-week stay, it was unavailable the entire time. It would be helpful if the hotel clearly stated when the pool is open and operational, or temporarily removed it from the amenities list until guests are actually able to use it."
