Quiet, great vibes, and very nice staff. I especially loved all the animals and especially Doolin the dog. I was worried I would feel creeped out staying in an older castle. But the rooms didn’t feel creepy at all. Lovely grounds to walk around as well.

Got to check off staying in a castle! Rooms were spacious, clean and had everything you would need to enjoy your stay! Loved it! Breakfast was great and convenient and we enjoyed our dinner at the restaurant on site.

We visited all of Ireland for two weeks and stayed here for three nights. Out of our entire trip, it was our favorite place to stay. It’s in a great location for what we wanted to see and the staff was amazing.

Staying at Ballyseede was one of the highlights of our Ireland trip. The rooms and property were beautiful and the staff was wonderful! Extra added bonus was their 2 adorable Irish Wolfhounds who you would find in different areas around the castle. Would highly recommend!

It’s a castle- and if that’s your thing, it’s perfect. The grounds are exquisite with beautiful flowers and trees. The dining was great, the rooms were stately, and the staff was very accommodating.

My aunt Janice and I loved our stay at Ballyseede! The staff were fantastic and the puppies too. Our room was beautiful, and very comfortable. Our breakfast was amazing. So delicious! We loved walking the grounds. Wish we could have stayed longer!

Beautiful, romantic, relaxing!

Absolutely amazing! Romantic, magical, and well suited for a lovely getaway with friends or a partner. The grounds were lovely to walk after breakfast, and in the evening before bed. The restaurant was delicious and staff was above and beyond helpful and kind. The bedding and rooms were lovely and comfortable. I slept so well there! The friendly pups that made you feel at home, were the highlight of our trip and stay. We thank the caretakers and owners for their amazing attention to detail. We can't wait to come back!

Princess for a night

During my solo road trip around Ireland, I decided to stay at Ballyseede Castle for a night since when else will I have an opportunity to spend an evening in a castle! The grounds were absolutely gorgeous, and the room was so luxurious. The shower was divine, and the toiletries provided left my hair feeling like I'd just come from the salon. I had dinner in Pappy's Bar and ate one of the most delicious steak and ale pies I've ever had, just the perfect portion size! While the location is a little off the beaten path, it is well worth the trip!!!

The property is absolutely amazing. Joe and Molly the Irish Wolfhounds are AMAZING!! Charlie Cooper and Hope are super cute as well! The atmosphere was wonderful and everyone there was so kind and welcoming. 10 out of 10 recommend and we will definitely be returning there in the future!!
