"We had such an amazing time! Nancy was fantastic and the home was magical. The bed was very comfortable and it was so nice to relax and read a book and just look at the absolutely gorgeous views from all the windows. We loved looking at all the stars from the hot tub, and had so much fun playing pool. We can’t wait to come back!"

"Heather was great with communicating about the weather and getting up to the cabin. This is our 3rd time staying at Terrapin Lodge and it was so relaxing with the fireplace and hot tub. The kitchen is stocked with everything you may need to grill and cook. The fenced in yard is amazing if you have pups! "

"Our stay was perfect! The house and amenities were exactly as described. Check in was simple and we had no issues at all. We were warm and it was quiet. We loved the hot tub! I will say this...access to the cabin is challenging, depending on the weather and the capabilities of your vehicle. We stayed during a stretch of mild weather, right before an ice storm. We had an all-wheel drive SUV. We didn't have any issues, but the road to the cabin is STEEP. Ice would have made the trek very difficult. I recommend planning for weather and make sure your vehicle is able to handle it - I would not have wanted to try it in my little economy car!"

"Not quite as secluded as we'd hoped for, but a delightful cabin with great amenities. The fireplace is gas (which is a lot less work than a log fire), the hot tub was great, as was the grill on the deck, and we took advantage of all of them. All in all a fabulous place to get away."

"This house was stunning, great for a trip with friends. Everything was clean and the kitchen had everything we needed. The location is perfect - secluded up in the mountains but only took us less than 30 minutes to get to Asheville. The grill and hiking trail were a nice plus"
