The family friendly, easily accessible new Peacefulside Retreat!

Spacious new home w/ HOT TUB and fast high speed internet in a quiet area, great for walking and biking! The Townsend Biketrail is less than 1000 ft away! Easily walk or bike to the only grocery store in town- the IGA! And a tunnel in front of the IGA goes under the highway, making crossing the road trouble free. Our home is easy to find- no winding roads or steep hills to climb, and conveniently located to everything Townsend has to offer. Plenty of free parking and Mountain Views included!

Everything was PERFECT!!!! The hostess did everything possible to make our stay comfortable and enjoyable. We would LOVE to stay at "Peacefulside Retreat" again. It is the cleanest and most comfortable place we have ever rented in the mountains.

Incredible stay! Everything was wonderful, clean, and the house feels brand new. They even have extras for little ones like children, plates and cups, a stroller. Wonderful layout for family to stay, bathtub for a littles. Beautiful decor with fall touches.Will absolutely stay again! I hope these owners have other properties because it was such a stand out place!

Nice change of pace

We have been coming to Townsend for years and usually stay in a cabin; this time we decided to try something different; this place was straight out of Southern Living; very clean and comfortable, convenient to town and the Park, owner was responsive to a a few questions; overall very pleasant experience

This house was absolutely perfect for our girls getaway. Clean, well-stocked, and walking distance to Peaceful Side Social! Three big bedrooms with our own bathrooms. We will come and stay with fsmilies next time!

The Best Stay!

We’ve been vacationing in Townsend for a few years, and this is the best place to stay! This house is so clean and welcoming, and it is fully stocked with everything you need from cooking to recreation. Within walking distance to many great restaurants is a plus!

An incredible location for family fun.

We stayed here for our daughter's wedding in Cades Cove. This home is beautiful, clean, and well thought out. Missy, the host, is extremely kind and helpful. The personal touches for your trip that she put into it makes it extra special. We love coming to Townsend and have found our new "go to" home to stay in.

Perfect size. Perfect location.

We stayed here for spring break with 4 adults and 3 children. This home was amazingly clean and so well stocked! There was nothing forgotten. The location was ideal for restaurants, sightseeing, etc. The upstairs area was perfect for the kids and we loved all having our own bathroom. We will definitely be back!!

Pictures don’t do it justice!

We loved our stay. Had all the amenities anyone could ask for. My kids enjoyed the smores station as well as the hot chocolate. We like that we could just park our bicycles and ride them around the neighborhood to local eateries. Will definitely be starting again! Missy was a great communicator and kept us posted on everything.

Perfect Stay

This was such a beautiful home. Clean, thoughtfully decorated and supplied with everything you could ask for. The extra goodies were such a great surprise and very appreciated after a long drive. We loved the location. We biked to all the restaurants and coffee shops and the grocery store several times for forgotten items. Missy was the best host we’ve ever had! Highly recommend this home for your next mountain adventure.

Our experience was practically perfect in every way. Missy was the best host and this house was the best we have stayed in as a vacation house. Missy cares and it did feel like home. From a kitchen with everything you need to make a meal to a stocked fire place and games to boot, we were not left wanting. Ideal location, wonderful house!

This is the second time our family has stayed at this house and Missy certainly does not disappoint! The cleanliness of the house and attention to detail on the inside and outside of the property makes this an ideal stay for any family. Missy is extremely prompt with communication and the amenities onsite made her house easily feel like our family's home.
