Super clean, comfy, well decorated. The balconies were lovely with a view of the babbling creek. The location truly was on the peaceful side! Love the hilarious board game ;-). Woukd definitely stay here again.

Great Place

This was located right where we needed to be. Close to what we wanted to do and very quiet. Great place for a weekend or weeks getaway. Will definitely not mind staying here again when we come to the area.

Beautiful Condo in Perfect Location

Spacious and well-equipped, this lovely condo on the river wa perfect for our late fall get-away. Close to the Smokys,we enjoyed the Sugarlands area, the hike to the Chimney Tops and the small town of Townsend. Thank you for such perfect accommodations.

Excellent place to stay!

We had a wonderful time at this place. It was immaculately clean, had plenty of space and was very tastefully decorated. We loved being so close to the stream and there were even binoculars which we could use to look out at the birds. The place was quite private with 2 separate porches looking out over the stream. We would definitely recommend it and are looking forward to returning.

Lovely by the River

Peaceful Stay

This condo is very comfortable, clean, well stocked and it’s an easy place to relax. The river view from the balconies is especially nice. We also like that it’s a short walk to the grocery store and to Peaceful Side Social, a fun and yummy eatery! It’s in a quiet area and we felt safe. Don’t hesitate to book :)

First off, thank you for letting us enjoy your home. My wife and I absolutely loved your property. The condo was amazing. John is the most thoughtful

We had a wonderful time in Townsend. We had a wonderful time at this condominium, listening to the babbling stream beside it. Everything that was dated for comfortable stay was there and John was a very attentive coast. If you’re looking for something special in town and I would suggest this.

The Goldilocks place to stay

Perfect condo - in town on pavement, plenty of level parking, walk to everything, beside the river. Condo was clean, everything worked well, rooms good size and comfortable. Loved hearing the river at night. Great place to stay for cycling trip - easy access to all the routes. There are stairs to get in and to bedrooms. We didn’t care but some might. Hope to stay here again next time.

Peaceful Side is Right!

We introduced a family member to the Smokies and so glad we chose to stay in Townsend! She loved visiting us at the condo and the location was perfect. The condo was as advertised, nicely appointed and clean. We love the cabin look! The stairs weren't bad but I wouldn't want to do them all the time. Host was excellent.

Good place to stay

Was an awesome place but I was disappointed that the website did not mention the fact that the bedrooms were upstairs which made it a little rough on two 76 year olds. We did make it but had we seen that on the description we would not have booked it. We really liked the location in Townsend and hope to go back soon. We loved the quietness of its location. Would go back but would only go with a ground level apartment.

Relax by the River

Great location to see the Smokies. Lots of good eating choices in Townsend and Wears Valley. Convenient to Cades Cove, Pigeon Forge, and Gatlinburg. Close to places we like to hike. A couple of minor issues: we had to wash our towels and wash cloths every night since we only had one per. We only had partial toilet paper rolls which ended up not being a problem but concerning. The one time we turned on the TV, there was not enough space to run the movie we were trying to watch. This was our second stay here, and we would probably stay again.

Quick getaway

It’s our 10 yr anniversary and we were going to celebrate another way, but our girls asked to go to the mountains. I found this cute condo in Townsend, Tn. It’s right on the river, close to restaurants, stores and gas and a nice drive through Great Smokey Mountain national Park to Gatlinburg. The space is cute & cozy, had everything we needed. Rental process, check-in/check-out was easy and the property owner communicated in a timely manor. We would stay here and recommend to anyone to stay as well. 🎄🎄🎄

Downs summer vacation 2024

The condo was perfect for our family. Two teenagers, an eight year old and my husband and me. The location was close to convenience store and restaurants as well as local attractions. The creek was easily accessible for the kids and the area well maintained. We had rabbits, ducks, squirrels, and a variety of birds on the grounds. The Cades Cove loop was full of wildlife and nature and history that we enjoy!!! The condo was clean and very well stocked with anything we needed and we were close enough to enjoy Gatlinburg and Pigeon Forge without being forced to stay in the crowds unless we chose. Townsend is a perfect location to act as bade for a Smokey Mountain vacation!!! Will definitely stay here again!

Grandparents dream trip!

We stayed in your lovely condo with our three grandchildren ages 9,7 & 5. This was absolutely my Granny dream come true. We spent many days in the creek and on the bank roasting hotdogs and marshmellows. We saw racoons, merganzers, river otter, geese, squirrels and numerous birds (and a couple water snakes...harmless) The condo fit our needs perfectly and the second and third floor balconies made us feel like we were in a tree house. Breakfast, pizza, storytime and on a rainy day painting and coloring all on the balcony. All three of my grandchildren wanted to know why we can't just live there all the time! Thank you for sharing your home. Such a quiet and beautiful spot!
