This large 3-level cabin in the heart of Townsend, TN is just outside the Great Smoky Mountain National Park. Gray Door Cabin and is the perfect retreat for families, couples or large groups. With 4 bedrooms and 3-1/2 baths, this cabin will comfortably accommodate 11 guests. Each room is equipped with a Smart TV. High speed internet is also included with your rental, allowing you to easily access your entertainment apps and stream your favorite movie and TV shows.

With a private hot tub, gas grill, large back deck, fire pit area, and gas fireplace, you may not ever want to leave. If you do want to venture out, you are only a few miles from the Great Smoky Mountains National Park, the Cherohala Skyway, Tuckaleechee Caverns, hiking trails, river tubing, fishing, restaurants and the small town charm of Townsend, TN. Or, you can explore and enjoy the surrounding area - conveniently located to Pigeon Forge/ Dollywood (approx. 35-min drive), and Gatlinburg (approx. 45-min drive).

Not a lot of common space for gathering together in one area. It would have been great if our grandkids were teens as there was a separate area of gaming set up for that age group. Other than that everything was great. Easy to find, good connectivity, and beds were reasonably comfortable.

Our spring break trip

The property was very clean and spacious. We ate all of our meals in, so i appreciated the well-equipped kitchen. It was a quiet neighborhood and the kids really enjoyed the hot tub.

Great Location

Very convenient location for getting in and out of the park, particularly Cade's Cove and hiking around that area. Townsend has solid amenities. House had plenty of room for us, two adults, four children under 10. Plenty of nice touches, would return due to location, proximity to Park entrance.

Another great stay

We have staying here three years in a row and we love the location. The house is very well maintained and has nice perks like coffee! Which is so nice when you wake up the first morning and realized you forgot to bring some. Very well stocked kitchen and all the paper products etc we needed for a 3 night stay. We love the downstairs movie room and the beds are comfortable. Close to town but off the road and an awesome view in the backyard. Kids loved the hot tub too!

Elder's Retreat

Our four-day stay at this property was all it was listed to be. Very comfortable, including the beds. Everything was clean and grocery store and restaurants were short distances away. Highly recommend and will use this property again in the future.

Great weekend getaway!

Loved staying at this lovely property! The layout is so nice for a group of friends to relax, watch football, and catch up. The property owner is so nice and worked with us on the reservation and check out. We will be back again next year!

Family Vacation

Perfect Location - Beautiful Home

Perfect family rental

Our family of 10 stayed in the cabin for 3 nights and the view was beautiful, the house was clean when we got there, it was 15 mins from Gatlinburg / pigeon forge, the kids loved the backyard and games, although we couldn't get the game room pinball or other machine to work. But there was plenty for us all to do there anyways so we wasn't worried. Beds was comfy, we absolutely loved this stay and decided to extend another night as well and will be back soon for this rental. The owner replied back quick with any questions or concerns we had. Thank you for such a lovely stay.

Amazing vacation home

Beautiful property, kids enjoyed the firepit and hot tub. Property owner was extremely responsive and maintained great communication. Close to many attractions, but far enough away that it felt secluded and away from heavy traffic. Will definitely stay again.

Beautiful and Convenient

Our whole group loved our stay at the cabin. It was just about as close as you could get to the national park. We love the quiet town of Townsend. This will be the first listing i look for when we book our next trip!

Perfect cabin for our family

The cabin was wonderful and fit our family perfectly. The cabin was represented well in the photos advertised. Every bed was comfortable with zero complaints. The host was fantastic at getting back with me when I encountered a problem with the indoor fireplace. He provided detailed instructions on how to get the pilot light back on. We were right around the corner from Cade’s. Cove and couldn’t have asked for a better location. I hope to come back in the future!
