Phenomenal is the perfect description

This house was perfect as a base for our Smokey mountain adventure. Just a short distance to Pigeon Forge, Gatlinburg, Cades Cove and Knoxville, we were able to easily get to all the things we were doing for the week. Besides the location the house itself was just perfect. A great set up with everything we needed and more. We had several questions along the way and the owners responded very quickly and took care of the question. The perfect host. My next trip back definitely staying here.

Getaway with the Grands!

The house was perfect for our 3 generation getaway. Very well stocked kitchen. Comfy beds, games and an amazing view! We felt like we were gay away from the business of Pigeon Forge and Gatlinburg but actually just took 15 minutes into town. Would definitely recommend!

Perfect for our Large Family

We loved everything about our stay! We had 16 people and had plenty of room. The cabin is so nice and feels so homey. The kitchen is so well stocked, beds are comfortable. The only thing I didn’t give 5 stars on was the check-in process - only because when we arrived at 4:45 the cleaning crew was still there and they didn’t leave until 5:15. There wasn’t room for all of us to park and unload while we waited for them to finish up. I know that’s not the owner’s fault, though! We would definitely stay here again.

Review of property

We enjoyed our stay and this property. Lots of room and nice big table for eating. The hot tub was not working for part of the week because of lightning strike but was repaired. Refrigerator water and ice was broken, but everything else was very nice. Lots of beds and bathrooms. We encountered daily visits from mother bear and her 3 cubs, searching for food which was fun to see but a little scary for the kids. Very well stocked in kitchen, bathrooms, etc. with most everything we needed. Great location for heading to our daily treks to Smoky Mountain National Park. Access to a nice local pool was also good. Short drive to Townsend was also nice.

Beautiful views and very spacious

The property managers kept things very organized. Fully furnished all things you could possibly need. They even had things for our 2 year old such as a crib, high chair, and toys. Family friendly! The teens enjoyed the loft very much. Was pretty disappointed in the housekeepers/cleaning people. There were quite a few cobwebs, floors were not swept well nor were rugs vacuumed and the dusting was not done. The view of the smokies is gorgeous! Internet doesn't work, but we didn't mind having an "unplugged" vacation.

Worse experience

When we arrived at check in at 4 we went to the cabin and see that it had not been cleaned at all and the floor was covered with dead lady buds!!!! When I called they sent someone to clean but was not ready for check in till after 6:30!!! Then the Hot Tub was not on so did not warm up till the next day and it had a funny smell to it!! Over all we did not have a good experience at all!!!

Large comfortable home

Large clean, beautiful, comfortably furnished home with privacy. We contacted the owner for a couple of appliance issues and were able to contact her immediately. The kitchen is huge, easy to cook in, and was well stocked with cooking pans and dinner ware. I was disappointed to start our week with 3 dishwasher pods and a third of a roll of paper toweling. besides little dish soap. My bathroom sink had little hand soap.. In the same bathroom there were 2 half rolls of toilet paper. The deck was nicely furnished and you could see the beautiful mountains. My stay would really have been enhanced if there were soaps and paper goods for a week. I highly recommend this home.

Location and communication

The cabin is gorgeous and spacious with plenty of room for our big family. The huge deck and hot tub with stunning views was our favorite part. It is perfect for traveling with children as it is already stocked with everything needed for small children like cribs, high chairs, toys, kids cups, plates and cutlery. The kitchen is well stocked for cooking all your meals and the big family table made eating with everyone so enjoyable. The cabin location is perfect with short drives to everything you want to do in the Smokies: park entrances, Gatlinburg, and Pigeon Forge. We had a few small indicences occur during our stay but Peggy was very quick to respond and try to help and her communication and care was thoroughly appreciated. The only downsides were the WiFi did not work during our entire stay and that was a specific requirement when we were looking for a cabin as we had to stay connected to work. Lastly, the cabin could use an overall deep clean. There were quite a bit of spiderwebs inside and out, rugs are quite dirty and not sure if they are vacuumed or washed regularly, and some furniture and the pool table are quite worn but that isn’t out the ordinary for a rental property. We would certainly stay here again!

Exceeded our expectations. Fabulous views, comfortable space, plenty of room for a large family. Especially appreciated the well stocked kitchen supplies and a new powerful grill. So close to the National Park entrances. Thanks for a great stay!

Great Place

We enjoyed every minute of our stay. The lodge was perfect with many amenities. The kids loved the pool table and hot tub. The fully equipped kitchen and grill made it nice for cooking meals. The large 10+ foot dining table and spacious living room were great for meals and hanging out. The hosts we’re very responsive when we had questions. Would definitely stay here again.

Very Nice Place to Stay with Family

We had a wonderful time. I would definitely stay here again and take my family. Would recommend this place to others as well. We had a wonderful time. Even had a glitch with VRBO not sending us the info needed the day before our trip. Send a text message to the owners and had what we needed in just a few minutes.

The best cabin ever!

We took our church youth group for the long weekend and had an amazing time! The cabin was so beautiful, a spacious kitchen, plenty of sitting for our group, everything was perfect! The one time we had to communicate with the owner, she was quick to respond and really kind. The only thing I would say is - yes the drive up is STEEP but it is so worth it! We can’t wait to come visit again next year!

Get getaway!

Great for groups and family to hang out together, rest, party or just whatever. Place was very well stocked, spacious and beautiful, comfortable, host was very accommadating. Location was great as your not in the crowd of all the tourist. areas. The cabin was on street that wasn't rack and stacked like most rental cabins I've had before. Awesome cabin and hosts

The property is nothing short of amazing. It’s gorgeous and was clean. We had a couple of small hiccups….on MY part but Peggy was ALWAYS available and answered my stupid questions quickly! I definitely will be back and HIGHLY recommend renting this property.

Couldn't have asked for a better place!

This cabin was amazing! Beautiful clean property with literally anything and everything you could've possibly needed! Plenty of supplies for small children and infants which I thought was an AWESOME touch! All the kitchen gadget and tools you possibly ever need! Only thing I would suggest is bringing extra household supplies like toilet paper, paper towels, trash bags, dishwasher pods, and laundry supplies! There's enough to get you started but, with as many people as the cabin holds, you'll run out fairly quickly! Also, the road leading up to the cabin is pretty steep with several switchbacks! We should've figured that but, if you've never stayed in the mountains, it's not something you really think about! All in all, the stay was absolutely pleasurable and we will definitely be back again!! Thank you for helping create beautiful memories for our family, Mrs. Peggy! ❤️
