Nice renovation to this older property but they did a really nice job on the upgrades. Real close to Cades Code and very quite compared to Pigeon Forge and very reasonable on the price. We will stay again as everything was great for our stay!

great location to the national park and no as touristy as Gatlinburg or pigeon Forge. Room was nice, but I don't think we ever got the tv to work. Breakfast was good but my husband would have liked a hot protein option. Staff was friendly

We arrived at the hotel around 8pm. As we got out of our vehicle, a couple was sitting on a swing. We casually asked how they were. They said they had been waiting for 2 hours for their room to be cleaned so they could check in. As we waited to check in, at least 3 other people in line were there because their room keys did not work. A new system was put in and people were having trouble. The maintenance man you could tell was running around ragged trying g to help. The lady at the counter was very pleasant. Luckily our room was ready. The room looked clean. The room was very dark not like the pictures. There was no overhead light or ceiling fan. My husband stepped on the balcony for a bit. When he came back in, we realized the sliding glass door did not have a way to lock it. He went to the front desk and they said maintenance would come to put something there to prevent door from being opened. They never came during our 5 day stay. The bed wascomfortable and the air conditioning worked well. Our room was tidied/cleaned 2 days. My husband went to ask for a clean towel the last night because they had not cleaned the room. They did not have any and did not know when we could get one. This was around 8pm and there were at least 2 couples waiting on their room to be cleaned before checking in. One person was given a key to their room and it had not been cleaned from the prior guest. The door to the room next to us was left wide open all night long. Hopefully it will be cleaned.
