"Overall: spacious room, comfortable, nice and quiet. Multiple small maintenance issues due to water damage. Missing curtain pull. A/C stopped working from about 3 to 4AM. Nice breakfast, lots of options. Hardworking breakfast lady kept the breakfast stocked and tables clean. Could use more healthy options, also plain water, maybe some gentle music for the morning."

"Overall is a very nice place. Lack of water pressure due to being on cistern would be the only draw back. But we never ran out of water just low pressure. Trail head is 15 minutes down the road."

"First trip to H&M trails with 3 other couples. House was awesome with room to spare and the ability to store all four side x sides in the secure garage was perfect. John was super easy to work with, very accommodating and responsive. We will definitely be back. Pocahontas isn’t a metropolis but a cool little town with a DG for basics and the trail side tavern was a good hangout with decent bourbon selection and we also took the coal mine tour which was very cool. VA should invest a bit in this cool little town as it would bring in more tourism dollars."

"Book the stay! It was beautiful. We were in the area for a family reunion. If we hadn’t of been, we wouldn’t have left the property. Clean, comfortable, gorgeous views, peaceful and the donkeys are an amazing bonus! Highly recommend!"

"We stay there quite often. It's pretty reasonably priced. However they could update floors to hardwood flooring. The people are very nice. And its clean other wise. They have the option for breakfast too. Parking for cars or small trucks. No semis."

"We had such a great stay! The yurt was beautiful, cozy, clean, and such a unique place to stay while we were in West Virginia. The area was peaceful and we really enjoyed our time there. The only suggestion I would make is to provide a little more detailed instructions on how to find it, or possibly add a sign at the road. We had a little trouble locating it at first. Other than that, it was a wonderful place and we would definitely stay again!"
