"The cabin is just the right size for a couple. The high ceilings make the cabin feel roomy. The bed was comfortable and Kathy took care of anything we needed. We had access to the whole ranch and enjoyed seeing the wildlife each day, especially the longhorn calves. We cooked our meals there and had all we need. If you want to grill you’ll need to provide your own charcoal. The cabin is quiet and cozy deep in the heart of the Hill Country."

"This property was a little oasis right by the lake the host Miss Judy is one of the most amazing Salt of the Earth people you will ever meet!! She made my birthday weekend so special. The pool area makes you feel like you’re in the tropics with all her beautiful flowers. If you’re looking for relaxation and peace and lake fun then this is the place to stay! We stayed in the camper she has on her property and it was beyond clean and had everything you need to enjoy a week or weekend. Thank you...

"The house was amazing for our large group and Karen was an awesome host, making the weekend perfect. A cold front came in so we didn’t get to swim in the lake as much as we wanted, but the kids spent the time in the hot tub and heated pool.The boys managed to catch a few catfish at night and played pickleball in the afternoon. "This house was perfect for our group which was 8 adults and 10 kids. There was so much to do between the lake, pool, kayaking, paddle boarding, playing ping pong and cornhole. The inside of the entire house was very clean and all the appliances, including the grill outside worked perfectly. We didn't make much use of the pool table and shuffleboard since there was so much to do outside. But it's always nice to have indoor options in case it rains! This might not be a huge win for other families but for us, the THREE refrigerators were so nice to have since we cooked all our meals. The location is great because you can put in an HEB order at either the Kingsland or Marble Falls location and have it delivered within range. Highly recommend a boat rental for the day. The house comes with a boat slip so was really convenient to dock the boat in and out. Plus, the lake is large enough to go tubing!A few things that would have been nice to have:-Beach towels: Very little amount compared to the capacity of the house. -Life jackets: Minimal amount of adult and kids compared to how many kayaks and paddleboards were available. -Essential Cooking Ingredients: We got by just fine but would be nice to have some of the basics like cooking oil, salt and pepper, etc. We will definitely be coming back to Kingsland!"

"Everything was even more beautiful than pictured. There was plenty of room for everyone. A lot of water activities were available on site. There were paddle boards, canoes, floats, life jackets, outdoor games and a huge Lilly pad! Your family will love it!"

"We rent VRBO home regularly for our family getaways and this was one of the best we’ve ever had. The home was perfect for our family, was VERY clean, well maintained, and had a well-equipped & organized in the kitchen. The management company was very responsive and provided helpful information about the community. Our kudos to them for taking such care in managing this owner’s property. The boat dock and waverunner slip was great and kept our boat and waverunner safe & handy. The boat house had toys for our granddaughters so the kids had a blast and basically lived in the water. It was a wonderful way to spend the last weekend of summer. There is also the friendliest bobtail cat that came by every morning and evening to visit the little girls. They were in love with the home and the kitty. Thank you allowing us to borrow your home for making family memories."
