"Beautiful hotel, very central and the nicest staff"
Everything was perfect, the location was spot on and the staff couldn't have been nicer and more helpful. Rooms were also very nice and I'd defiantly recommended this hotel and come again if I were to visit Phoenix. The only downside is that the pool is a bit small and shallow but it's by no means an issue.

"Nice hotel...valet parking needs improvement"
Very nice and modern hotel. Valet was extremely slow and inefficient. We called down 20 minutes prior to leaving and the car was not ready when we were ready to leave. We had to request for the valet to get our car again once we got downstairs this happened every day for three days says straight...needs improvement.

"A pleasant surprise!"
I was doing work this week with the Phoenix Convention Center and wanted to stay at the Hyatt but it wasn't available to stayed here. My first impression was mixed as the rooms are small and you can't control your own ac. However, I had a great stay and wouldn't mind going back if needed without hesitation. The staff and the wifi were the best! The staff was great - very friendly and always took the time to say "welcome back" when I came back to the hotel. The wifi was easy to connect to and never had any issues using it. Room was very clean.

"Quick weekend trip"
The hotel was really nice. The staff was helpful. We swam and the pool was clean and well maintained. It would have been nice to have easier access to order a drink or snack at the pool. All in all it was a relaxing place to stay.

"LOVELY!"
The only hang up upon check in involved Expedia's mistake in our reservation. Luckily the front desk attendant quickly found us the room we needed and remedied the mistake. This hotel was very comfortable for our family of four (including two teenagers). We had a suite room with two queen beds. It was so nice to have the sitting area, the kitchen, and two comfortable beds. What really saved us was all of the food that is served for guests! The breakfast is above and beyond the normal hotel "free" breakfast. Every morning the standards were out and then there was a specialty item. In the afternoons/evenings, we were treated to a substantial "happy hour" buffet which really made our teens happy...a snack for them is something hot and filling and that's what we had! We also spent every evening at the pool. Even though the temperatures outdoors were high, the pool still felt nice. It's a big enough area to not feel crowded; lots of room to swim or enjoy time on a chaise lounge or at a table. The property is going through a remodel. The work being done was noticeable but never interfered with our stay. Good for them for upgrading! We had a great stay!

"Value for money and location."
I opted for ABVI Downtown Phoenix as I wanted somewhere very close to the Phoenix airport car rental centre. It is just a few minutes away, ideal after the 10 hour flight from London. Arriving late in the evening, we didn't need hotel facilities, just the chance of a good night sleep. The ABVI provided this. Really comfortable bed, and the room spotless. Only 1 person on duty at reception, and friendly enough. Not a great deal to do in the near vicinity, so probably not ideal for a long stay. For a comfortable 1 night stay after a long day - perfect.

"modern, clean, good hotel"
Staff were lovely, rooms were clean and modern. Felt like it was constantly costing money though, with wifi costing $ each day and parking also costing $ each day.

"Retro and Inexpensive"
Kind of like staying at a Roadside Motel becuz I believe it was one back in the day. Small rooms and even smaller shower but everything works (including ethernet). Staff works hard at keeping an old property in decent shape, and there's good coffee in the morning! All in all you get what you pay for.
