Lovely and very central hotel

I really liked this hotel, the staff is extremely friendly and helpful, and it’s kept spotless. Excellent breakfast. I only hope they get air conditioning - I understand this is regional (other family members were at different hotels in town too) - but we happened to be there during a humid heatwave and sleeping was tricky.

OK but overpriced hotel at great location

Great location, ok hotel. Inventory a bit old and not very clean. Breakfast quite limited. Price should have been lower for that standard.

The staff was outstanding at this hotel. The hotel itself looks as though it requires new ownership. A lot of repairs and updates need to be made. You can tell whoever owns the hotel does not care, nor put effort into it. Where the hotel is located is outstanding! I’m walking distance and in the heart of everything to do in Tournai. So if you are not looking to spend much time in the hotel, it works. If you want to visit a beautiful Belgian city and have the same experience in the hotel as you do outside, then I would not recommend.

Hi, We booked this hotel 6 month prior to our visit. We were 5 people who were traveling together so the planning was done so far ahead that we felt safe to go on our trip. We had a booking for an Olympic event the same day as our checkin in Lille but when we arrived at the hotel it was closed due to construction. Our booking was still valid - we tried to call the hotel and Hotels.com - but no help was found. After waiting on the phone for a long time with Hotels.Com we had to find a new hotel quickly if we were to make the time for the event. We managed to drive to another hotel, book the hotel without any help from your agent. Terrible service!!!

Very disappointing

Very disappointing. Extremely run down and desperately in need of full refurbishment. Staff members were pleasant and helpful and bedding / towels were clean, but room was in terrible condition and frankly unsafe (poor electricals, smoke alarm disabled etc.). There was no working wi-fi and decor was reminiscent of a 1980's Soviet backpacking hotel. Breakfast (included), was ok. Based on this experience, my advise would be 'avoid'!

Hyggelig betjening, men slitent hotell. Oppvarmingen i rommet og tv'n fungerte ikke, og varmtvannet var borte den siste dagen. Gammelt, slitt gulvteppe pÄ gulvene.

Accueil trĂšs sympathique , personnel tres aimable , bon service d’accueil bar petit dĂ©jeuner ,calme sur cour , bien placĂ©, par contre l’hĂŽtel a besoin d’ĂȘtre rĂ©novĂ©, le rapport qualitĂ© prix n’est pas bon comparĂ© Ă  un autre hĂŽtel ds lequel Ă©tait des autres membres pour un prix similaire sans petit dĂ©jeuner mais oĂč les chambres Ă©taient grandes, pleines de charmes ds un hĂŽtel bien rĂ©novĂ© Ă 10 mn Ă  pied de celui ci , ici pas de couette Ă©paisse en plein hiver , vĂ©tustĂ© des chambres et salles de bain et du chauffage , mĂ©rite vraiment d’ĂȘtre rĂ©novĂ©, pour une nuit pas bien grave mais prix devrait ĂȘtre ajustĂ© en comparaison !

Immeuble trÚs vétuste, il aurait besoin d'une bonne restauration, seul point positif, l'acceuil et la gentillesse du personnel, rapport qualité prix, l'hotel est trÚs cher par rapport a d'autres qui sont mieux classés, ok c'est en plein centre ville, mais beaucoup trop cher pour un hotel de cette classe. Point positif également, j'avais oublié ma tablette, elle m'a été restituée, un tout grand merci au personnel qui lui est vraiment nickel

Bon accueil mais établissement à rénover vite

MalgrĂ© un accueil trĂšs sympathique et un cadre plutĂŽt jolie. La qualitĂ© de la chambre est vraiment a revoir... Porte d’entrĂ©e qui laisse un jour de 1cm meme fermĂ©, moisissure dans la salle de bain au plafond, mobilier casser. Bref cette hĂŽtel mĂ©rite une remise en Ă©tat. C’est dommage car il manquerai juste un peu de rigueur dans la remise en Ă©tat pour en faire un bon hĂŽtel. Seul la personne de l’accueil remonte le niveau de l’hĂŽtel!

Nous avons rĂ©servĂ© pour une nuit. Accueil sympathique mais petits problĂšmes tout de mĂȘme Ascenseur en panne et chambre dispo uniquement au 4Ăšme Ă©tage. HĂŽtel vieillot et tarabiscotĂ© (impossible de trouver la chambre) bref une fois arrivĂ© grosse fuite d'eau dans la salle de bains, tapis de douche complĂštement dĂ©chirĂ©...nous avons demandĂ© Ă  changer de chambre ce qui a Ă©tĂ© fait sans problĂšme Toujours au 4Ăšme mais plus agrĂ©able Nous avons bien dormi mais le lendemain qd nous avons pris la douche...re fuite d'eau dans la salle de bains. VoilĂ  peut mieux faire !!!

We were on a bike trip from Amsterdam to Paris, and Tournai was the first town where we felt a little uncomfortable with youth hanging out along the river--broken glass etc. The only town besides Paris with a visible homeless population. The room was not clean, especially the bathroom. Lots of mold, including on the shower curtain. would not stay again.

De locatie is het enige wat ik goed vond mits je niet met de auto bent, want het is vechten voor een parkeerplaats. De rest viel mij erg tegen. Een goedkope kleine ventilator op een kast (met 6 verschillende kleuren hangers) en een grote aan het voeteneinde van mijn bed moesten voor frisse lucht zorgen. Het behang was verouderd en toe aan een opfris beurt. De voegen en het kit rand in de douche waren beschimmeld. Niet te spreken over het douche gordijn. Personeel toonde niet echt interesse in hun gasten. Het was meer van hallo en doei..... Mijn mening: te duur voor een hotel in deze staat.
