"The Gorgona, is a great hotel over looking Mykonos Bay. We were welcomed with a smile and a casual explanation explanation of timings, breakfast, pool and directions, before we were led to our room. Curtains were drawn to keep the room cool and once they were opened revealed Mykonos bay - Wow what a view. The entire hotel is spotless, reception, breakfast room pool... you can not fault it. Around the Pool area there is plenty of space and open around the pool. Great views across Mykonos Bay from old town to new port that has a pool bar that generally opens around 1pm(ish) and sells soft drinks, beer and some cocktails. Gentle music in the background. The Breakfast room overlooks the Mykonos bay, Good fresh continental breakfast including traditional Greek yoghurt and honey. Our room was very comfortable with a large balcony and I think most are over looking the bay and are westward facing for beautiful sunsets. The main town is about 10 mins walk down hill along a road that is fairly narrow but easy to navigate even at night. There is little road noise (unlike many on main roads) but you can see and hear a few flights a day over the hotel as its not a big island. We've been lucky and stayed at a few good hotels on Mykonos over the last few years and can say this is the best overall."

"The place was picturesque, situated a little bit outside of mykonos town center so that you're close enough to Little Venice but also far enough that you don't hear the night parties. You get a great view of the Mykonos sunset from the hotel. Breakfast was amazing, and you get free bottles of water each day of your stay! All of the staff from the reception to the room service to maintenance are very friendly and helpful. My family is usually very picky in terms of hotels and their amenities, and they had no qualms but just that it would ha e been nice to have more towel racks in the bathroom area. Otherwise, the jacuzzi and the view were amazing. Unfortunately, the lights to our balcony and to the jacuzzi did not work, but we got compensated with free drinks from the bar instead. The staff was also very much available via WhatsApp, which made it easy to request transportation anytime! Overall, highly recommend staying here if you want a more private/elegant stay in Mykonos with great food and great views, along with amazing staff that are able to meet your demands!"
